Love the look, it's very cute. It does feels very cheap and low quality, esp since it's glued together. Not sure how long this will last. Also, if you use it for anything with any sort of oil it will 100% be soaked up into the wood because the wood is completely unfinished. Not a huge deal, but looks weird/dirty.

I got these because my bestie is all about giraffes. But then I got them and greedily kept them for myself - I love that I can safely snag my toast and bagels out of the toaster!

I love the design of the OTOTO Jerry Giraffe! Such an adorable tool. We had toaster tongs growing up and I forgot how handy they are. These are they are sturdy and well made and the giraffe style is so clever. Great little gift for anyone.

I have several other OTOTO products. They're designed to be fun and cute, but I've also found them to be high quality, well made, and great at what they do. These giraffe toaster tongs are no exception, they make grabbing my toast a fun experience, plus they look great on the counter even when they aren't in use.The fact that they stand up on their own was a big reason I wanted them, plus I love giraffes. I make an english muffin almost every day but need tongs to reach them in the toaster. I have a pair for cooking nearby but sometimes they're dirty or wet, so I wanted dedicated toaster tongs. I wasn't sure where I'd put them that would be both instantly accessible but also out of the way. Having them stand up at the back of the counter solved that problem perfectly, and it's so cute to see the giraffe head poking up.The "legs" are wider than most toast tongs so they grab and hold well. You have to hold them close to the middle or they won't close, but that's just because theres a thicker piece of wood at the top that makes up the head. They're lightweight and thin so they can reach deep into the toaster easily.I'm absolutely enamored with this sweet giraffe who has become an essential part of my morning routine. He did a great job helping me make waffles too and grabbed them easily off the waffle iron. OTOTO has done it again with their creative and useful kitchen tools.

This product is so cute! I have the Ototo Nessie ladle, and I had not seen Jerry before but I'm so glad I got him! He sits over by my toaster, and he is just so fun to have in the kitchen. I have a toaster that is designed to hold the longer pieces of bread, so sometimes the sandwich-sized bread gets stuck in there. Previously I had been using my fingers or a fork (don't do that) to get out the stuck slices, but not anymore now that I have Jerry! He can easily fit down into the slots and pull out the stuck toast. The spring feels fairly high quality, and it is mostly enclosed in his head. I only hand wash Jerry (if he needs washing at all), and then I dry him as quickly as possible. I love him!
