The chains are very heavy built. They will last thru my lifetime if I keep them out of the weather. During the weather I put the chains and a very strong plow on the front of my 317 John Deere tractor. The plow has a lift system that raises the grader Blade up and down. When snow falls I roll out the John Deere 317 and I scrap all of the Neighbors Driveways and clear the street so all can get out on the Highway.
