EASY TO CUT AND CUSTOMIZE
Charcoal foam can be cut into custom pieces (although it is relatively firm) for other specific uses.

For most project use, the best way to achieve this is by using a sharp bread knife – or an electric bread knife. Make sure you are cutting in one straight movement and direction to get a clean cut.

I replaced old egg carton type foam in my cases. It is a quality foam and easy to cut with a new box cutting blade extended in length, longer than width of foam.To make cutouts and trim, use a new quality box cutter with break-off blades but don't break the blade sections off and use the full length. For custom fitment of protected items, draw the outline with a black marker, score the outline about 1/4" deep of the areas you want to cutout, then go deeper past the width of the foam and just go slow and let the blade do the work.

totally different size than ordered, 4 inches wider 7 inches shorter, they will not honor quarantee.
