I love all newton products especially the breathable mattress! When we found out we were expecting I knew I’d only buy newton products. However I’ve had a couple issues with the insert.1. I had to add weight to flatten it out for weeks before it was completely flat2. The sheet it came with shrunk and they don’t sell that size so now my baby sleeps on it without a sheet. If you place the sheet on the insert it folds the mattress again and you have to add weights again to flatten it out.Overall I really like it. I am comfortable knowing my baby sleeps on a breathable mattress. I would recommend this however, I wouldn’t buy it a couple days before your baby is due. I would buy maybe a month or two to allow the mattress to be flatten.

Overall good quality just don’t get why you have to buy this separately and doesn’t come with their basset.

Love this bassinet! Super easy to set up inside the play pen and easy to take to friends/family house to have a place for him to sleep. Love that it is the same material as the crib mattress that we have and super easy to clean if there is spit up.

We bought this product. Unfortunately the size is not an standard, it means I cannot purchase an extra layer cover. Imagine your baby is in the middle of the night, if he pee and wet it, you need to clean it, dry it before to be able to use it again. The solution could be to have an extra layer cover in order to just change it in the middle of the night, but Newton does not sell it separately. So I think it's not very practical if we cannot use it 100% of the time, because there is not extra layer covers and no place to purchase it.

A Registry must have, I bought this the 2nd it was released. As I have a newton mattress and wanted the comfort and relief knowing my baby is the safest he could be. The size is great! A really grows with baby, it’s easy to clean and lightweight. Just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
