Slid right in! I got 20mm so for bigger ears they’re very effective and easy to use. Just slide it right in and unscrew the taper part once it’s in. Remember, if there’s pain or a lot of resistance, DO NOT KEEP GOING. ITS NOT WORTH IT. You’ll lose sizes in the end!

I absolutely love these tapers/plugs. This is my 3rd pair. I always worry about switching my tapers to plugs after sizing up so this eliminates that stress because it’s both tapers and plugs. They are true to size. I size up every 3-6 months and it doesn’t hurt at all, for me that’s enough time for my skin to heal. The tapered backs are a bit heavy so you definitely want to take those off and put the backing on right away so you don’t have that extra weight pulling on freshly stretched ears. But no worries because the backs are incredibly easy to get on. I only have one hand and haven’t had any issues using these.

I've bought this product twice now (11mm & 12mm) and I'll be buying my next couple upgrades from here as well. The screw on tapers make life so much easier, you don't have to wait for the stretch to heal a bit before replacing your taper with a plug- just unscrew the taper and screw on the tunnel back once it's in your ear. Absolutely recommend these tapers.

These are by far the BEST stretchers I’ve used! They are so easy and to not have to keep the tapers in for a bit is awesome! This is my second pair and I will be using these again! Absolutely amazing!

These have been absolutely perfect for going up in sizes for me. I have purchased a few and have gone from 0 to 1/2 inch no problem, no pain and no discomfort. Another thing I love is that when you put the regular gauge backing on, the tunnels aren't too thick/wide, they're perfect. I wear them for a week or so and then switch to whatever jewelry I want to wear. Make sure you are cleaning them and your ears before using and use a good lubricant on them so you aren't trying to just bust them through. Your ears will be happy and not red and inflamed. A lot of people use jojoba oil but I'm allergic so I just use cocoa butter.

I've stretched my ears slowly over the past decade or so using the spirals or the tapers. I absolutely hate tapers (they aren't visually appealing to me), so i switch them out asap and sometimes have difficulty because the lobe will try to resist the stretch and bounce back. So for that reason I love this product! And would recommend it to anyone who equally hates tapers because once you finish the stretch all you have to do is unscrew the taper and screw on the back of the gauge! Goodbye ugly taper! Hello! Not trying to struggle to switch em out too soon! Thank you!

I'm a size 10mm at the moment of writing this review. I'm wanting to go up a size 1 at a time to avoid blowouts.Anyway I put these 11mm in my ear lobes and they seriously slid right through. I mean right through the other side and onto the floor!I was going to return them but honestly it's less of a hassle to return them. By the time I print a label drive across town to get a small bubble mailer, pack it all up in the car, drive back across town to the post it would end up costinge almost as much to return them as it did buying them.I honestly suggest that if you want to order these try getting the next size up from what you're wanting.Side note. I saw a bunch of people complaining that the threads became locked and "impossible" to get unscrewed. If you are doing the process of stretching correctly you should be using some form of oil such as jojoba. Use a tiny amount of the oil on the threads as before screwing on the other end. This will act as an ant-seize making it much easier to remove later on.
