I have been using leather cord for years to make necklaces and wrap bracelets. Sometimes it is hard to find top quality leather that doesn't split and crack when I tie knots in it...this leather cord performed the knot test very well! It is smooth and soft and comes in one continuous piece (no splicing, which I really dislike.) This full grain leather cord is a nice thickness (2.5mm) to make sturdy jewelry. I highly recommend it!

This is very nice quality leather cord and yes, it is full grain. I own a leather shop and regularly buy lace and cord. The cord is for jewelry and braided hat bands. What I look for is supple enough to braid but still strong because when braiding you sometimes have to pull knots tight and even. The color is even and it has a nice finish. I will be using this for a project and I am sure I will be buying more. I recommend this cord.

I’ve ordered a lot of leather cord from Amazon with mixed results. This cord is the strongest, thickest, most nicely finished cord I have ordered. And best of all…it doesn’t emanate a moldy stench like some other substandard cord. It holds up well for necklaces—the knots stay knotted! It wears nicely on the skin too. Overall excellent cord!

I can say I when I ordered this I wasn't sure about it being leather. I have to say I received this today and it truly exceeds my expectations. My daughter has really gotten into jewelry making and I was looking for other options for her to use for bracelets and necklaces. This is a nice pice of leather cord. It will certianly hold up well to heavier pieces and be great to use for those who may have allergies to different metals.When she runs out of this I will certianly be purchasing more.
