I use these plugs in my 2002 Mazda Miata that is equipped with an Eaton MP62 supercharger. They work great and hold up well. I have been using NGK plugs for almost 50 years in motorcycles, ATV's, lawn mowers and many cars, domestic and import. They have always worked well (as long as I pick the correct heat range for the application) and have never had a problem.

Using in VW EOS Hybrid K04, w/ every mod and APR 3.2-104 Octane Tune with E30+ Water Meth Injection. Lasts around 19k Miles. APR recommended change of 15k. Better than Denso IK22 which only last 10k-12K at best.

My VW mk6 GTI has an APR tune and they recommend a gap of.024" (.023"-.025"). Meaning they need to be squished a bit from the factory pre-gap .032". Another well known tuning company needs .028" so I think the large factory gap is working as intended.Note these plugs are 1 stage colder than stock GTI.Also, a tuned GTI needs upgraded coil packs- but you already know that.Gentle while testing size! Iridium is fragile so gapping up with a steel wire or rotating the sizing disk to fit might do more hard than good if you scrape the electrode. For me, I change these plugs once a year as "modded car regular maintenance" & keep it as an easy winter project.
