I know NGK makes a good plug, but these don’t come with the terminal nuts. Really, you’re so cheap you can’t include those. I guess I’ll buy Champion next time. They come with them.

These are Mercury recommended and they hold up great under use. Great thing to have spares of for when you foul a plug.

Mercury Mmotor table called for a 0.9 mm (0.036 in.) gap. Needed an 18 mm (slightly bigger than an 11/16 in.) spark plug socket. Very difficult to find locally.Found it as part of a multi kit at Lowes, but the socket walls were so thin that the socket torque-bent when loosening. I used a crescent wrench on the socket instead of a rod or screw driver through the hole in the socket. This worked better and caused less bending.
