This is a very well-built benchtop power supply. It functions as you would expect such a thing to. I haven't had any issues with mine and I don't anticipate any either; NICE POWER is pretty nice! I think this power supply is competitively priced, especially with the current coupon. I certainly recommend this unit, even without the coupon!

The NICE-POWER DC Power Supply is a solid addition to any workbench. With a variable 30V 5A output, it provides precise control for a wide range of projects. The adjustable settings and built-in encoder make it easy to fine-tune the power output, while the output switch, OCP, and OVP features add an extra layer of safety. I also love the inclusion of USB-A and Type-C quick charge ports, which are perfect for charging devices on the fly. It’s a well-built, reliable tool for both professional and hobbyist use!

I currently work in I.T. and have been using this power supply quite often. I work on radios, laptops, AVL's and more. I frequently get hardware to repair with missing or damaged power supplies. This is where this unit comes in and saves the day. I've saved so much time not waiting on a power supply to arrive and can get to work immediately. It not only saves me time, but also money. I can determine whether or not a unit can be repaired and then decide to buy a power supply afterwards, not beforehand, and ending up with multiple PS's sitting on the shelf. I mostly use this on ICOM, Kenwood and Motorola radios. It's very easy to use and dial in the correct watts/amps If you work in electronics, repairs or testing, I would highly recommend getting one of these. If you're just prone to losing your adapters, this can be a one and done unit for you. I'm very happy with this..

This DC power supply exceeded my expectations. I tested it with three loads: powering a 12 V / 30 W heated food bag, float charging a 5.5 A-h UPS battery at 13.6 V / 0.5 A, and powering a cordless power tool work light at 18 V / 1.3 A.The voltage and current displays were accurate to within the combined tolerance of the power supply and my multimeters, see photos. While supplying the heated food bag at 12 V / 2.57 A, I reduced the current limit to 2.5 A. With over-current protection (OCP) disabled, it seamlessly switched from constant-voltage to constant-current mode and reduced the voltage until the supplied current matched the limit exactly. With over-current protection enabled, it sounded an alarm and disabled the output when the current limit was reduced below the current being supplied.Float charging the UPS battery also worked as expected. With the battery initially at 12.6 V and the power supply set to 13.6 V / 0.5 A, it started in constant-current mode while the voltage rose to 13.6 V, then switched to constant-voltage mode as the current dropped. The USB charging ports provide well-regulated power. I measured 4.95 V with no load and 5.05 V while charging my phone at 1.85 A.The power cord is a bit short at just under 4 feet. Fortunately it's a standard IEC 60320 C13 connector (same as most desktop computers) so if you need a longer cable that's an easy find. There is a shrill BEEP upon power-up, and by default, at every digit change. The first thing you'll want to do is to press and hold the "V-Fine" button to turn that off. Unfortunately, it does not remember that setting, and you'll have to do that after every power-up. This isn't enough to subtract a star though. Overall I'm very happy with this power supply.

This is a really great variable power supply from NICE-POWER, I hadn’t heard of the brand before picking it up, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the power supply for the current list price of 50 bucks. The power supply is pretty bare-bones in terms of features, but does have a few fancy features that are nice to have, which at this price point I didn’t even expect to get those. The power supply is fairly well built, heavy enough to stay put on my work bench, and pretty compact so it doesn’t take up half my desk. The power supply has a nice on switch, the terminals are easy to connect to with the included leads. The adjustment knobs feel great and are responsive, and are clicky so you can adjust each digit of voltage or current to your choosing.Testing this out with my multimeter at max voltage of 32V, my meter read 31.7V, so only 0.94% off, for current I saw a 2.1% error compared to my multi-meter, but still not bad at all, and you can always fine tune to account for the error. The power supply has over-voltage and over-current protection if you need that for your loads, and testing it it worked great, the power supply cut off over the set points (these are easily adjustable), the power supply beeps until acknowledged and cuts off power when the alarm is triggered. Continuous current mode and voltage modes work great and has an annunciator light on the screen which is nice.Wish I had this when I was a student, but as an engineer for me it comes in handy if you need to test out devices or mock up a circuit. Overall this power supply looks great, works great, pretty accurate, and is compact, love it so far, definitely recommend checking it out its a great value.
