This power supply works at advertised. I am a very amateur hobbyist and this works well for me. It's easy to use and works well.

Noice power, mate! This is a well-built benchtop PSU. I got the 5A version but would recommend the higher 10A version if you can swing it instead. EVen still, this PSU performs well. I like how it has three ports on the front instead of the standard two, since it includes the ground, which is always a welcome feature. I haven't had any issues with mine. It seems to hold the settings and produce the desired current or voltage as specified. I would recommend it to any electronic repair hobbyist or even a small-time pro like myself.

For $50 this 30V/5A adjustable DC power supply is very expensive. It's odd that NICE-POWER has a 30V/10A for $40. One reason that it's expensive is the 4 encoders used in voltage and current setting. I think with a little design and programming you can use one encoders and a button to switch between voltage and current setting. Also another button to move to a different digit. One new addition is the USB-C power in addition to the USB-A port. The addition of over voltage protrection (OVP) is nice. I like the power on button is in the front. Also the OUTPUT button is a must. Since the ground banana jack is between the negative and positive, you can't use a dual banana connector. I would like to see the LCD in different colors (maybe: voltage=green, current=red, yellow=power) Throw in a voltage meter for the USB port and you have a winner. I will update this later after more testing in accuracy and function.

This is a decent 30V 5A DC power supply with standard features like overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The inclusion of USB quick-charge ports is a convenient addition, making it versatile for various applications. While the power supply generally performs well, it exhibits some inconsistencies under load. When used to heat 24 gauge nichrome wire for foam cutting, the output wattage fluctuated from the setting of 15W to around 10-11W under load. There were momentary drop in current even lower and at no point under load did it recover to the 15W setting.Overall, the power supply is easy to use, with standard voltage and current adjustment knobs. One drawback I encountered is the lack of a metallic plate on the output terminals. I could not get any reliable output using a standard spade connector. Banana jacks (4mm) or female port connectors provided the best connection.Bottom line, this is a functional power supply that can be useful for various projects. Its performance under load, particularly with high-current applications, could be improved. For hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable and versatile power supply, this model is a decent option, but it's essential to be aware of its limitations.

I've been in the market for one of these for a long time, and I'm thrilled that I was able to get this one.I am far from a professional, but I occasionally need to output a specific voltage and amperage- and this does just that. I have no way of testing amperage, but in terms of voltage my multimeter consistently followed voltage changes with high accuracy. The fine adjustment knob changes the voltage by a centivolt and the gross adjustment knob changes by a volt. The multimeter was able to follow the steps with 0.00 deviation. When I made a step, there was around .7 seconds delay. Regarding the precision of the voltage output, It's hard to say. Both the leads of this power supply and the leads of my multimeter were around 18awg (Rough estimate; I haven't measured) and the length was one yard each. Using the constant voltage mode, I observed that my multimeter measured values which were 3 centivolts higher than what the power supply was reporting. When adjustments are made, this power supply makes a decently loud beep. While it's a great safety feature, I can't seem to turn it off. This is a problem because my kid sleeps in the next room and I usually work on projects when he is sleeping. The power supply has a mechanical toggle at the front in order to turn the power on, which I appreciate. What this device does NOT do is provide actual output values alongside of target values. This is a simple unit with very basic features, but for me it's definitely enough to get the job done. I am very happy with this item. This is not the most fancy power supply,
