NICE-POWER R-SPS-C High Power Battery Charging DC Power Supply
NICE-POWER R-SPS High Power Battery Charging Series DC Power Supply are designed for charging batteries. The DC Power Supply can charge a wide range of battery types within it's voltage range. Such as lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries, etc.
The DC power supply has a maximum voltage of 60V, and can charge batteries below 60V, such as 6V/12V/24V/36V/48V/60V batteries.
Common Battery Charge Current and Charge Voltage:
Charging voltage = 1.15 * battery rated voltage.
Charging current = 0.1C~1C ("C" is the battery capacity).
WARNING: Please note that the above recommendations do not represent all battery types, and you should check the proper charging voltage and current before charging.
Please note: Due to the design of the power supply, the front panel is only suitable for output currents up to 5A. To avoid damaging the power supply, connect the high current connector on the back of the unit for output currents above 5A. The back panel can reach the maximum current of the purchased specification: for example, if you purchase 30V 30A, the current can reach 30A by connecting the back panel high-current terminal.
Tips for charging batteries from the DC power supply
When the battery is charging, the "check" indicator will light up if the wiring is incorrectly connected or there is any other error, then you need to check the circuit.
When the battery is charging, the "charging" light will come on, the DC power supply is charging your battery.
When your battery is almost fully charged, the DC power supply will automatically stop charging and the "FULL" light will come on.
With this high power rechargeable DC power supply, you will no longer have to worry about battery damage or damage to the DC power supply due to reverse charging of the batteries into the DC power supply.

Output Switch
The DC power supply is equipped with an output switch, you can set the voltage/current value you need first, and then turn on the output switch, then the DC power supply will have output voltage/current.
The output switch prevents the connected load from being damaged.
Battery Charging Button
This is a DC power supply designed for battery charging. It stops automatically when the battery is full. It also prevents the battery from charging the DC power supply in reverse.
Memory Storage
DC power supply with 4 sets of data storage buttons, you can set the commonly used data for storage, turn on the DC power supply again can be used with one key.
Intelligent Fan
When the operating temperature of the DC power supply exceeds 122°F or 50°C, the fan will turn on intelligently to dissipate heat effectively. Reduces the working noise of the DC power supply and prolongs the service life of the DC power supply.

This and 99% of all power supplies driven by PWM instead of a transformer cannot properly deliver power to modern motherboard or laptop.Motherboards are more sensitive and will either not power on at all or will give you problems with boot loop etc as you are testing it.Output is always OFF by default.Meaning you constantly have to reach for it and turn it on.Annoying.For the price, i expected it to be smarter than that.

Power supply works amazing. Only downside I found was large unit changes. Example 12V at 3A changing to 12V 10A. This took about 5mins of twisting the adjustment knob due to small increases this makes to get accurate adjustments. Other than this small issue. It great.

I like it overall, seems well built. Although, when I set the voltage, the display stays at that voltage I'm trying to get to. Other power supplies i have had will show the current voltage so for someone who may not have a seperate multi meter to watch voltage, they will not know where it's currently at. Another thing is that when I set the current, it acts more like a max current allowable setting but does not reach that current, even initially. It will taper down the current as it gets closer to the desired voltage as well. Which may be what some people want. I use it for testing and tinkering with batteries and I was wanting to have it put out the current I choose. But that wasn't a good enough reason for me send it back. I will keep it.

Originally purchased for a bench top power supply, it worked for everything I needed to run up to 20vdc, it has never had a problem in the almost 3 years I have had this supply. I purchased a second one to run some radios, I ended up dedicating it to my ic-7300 and the power supply delivers beautifully, recently replaced the PSU with a 35 amp supply from a hamfest to run more radios from a single supply.None the less both supplies work great for powering my prototypes, testing automotive parts, working inside and testing components in boats. It would be nice to have an option to buy replacement binding post, I snapped one off the other day. Worse case I'll mod it with some variation of a replacement binding post.Absolutely phenomenal power supply.

The power supply looks nice with good build quality and it’s very light. But it will give you only 140 watts MAX. For heavy loads isn’t good it will sag badly. It’s fine for charging batteries.

I like the LCD display and the controls are quite adequate for adjustment. I have connected it up to a few items and so far I am quite happy with the performance. I am satisfied enough that when these are back in stock I may purchase another one, or maybe the white one as it makes no difference to me what color it is.

I'm an electrical engineer who has been masquerading as a manager for 40 years. This simple power supply is fine for my occasional home repair or project of curiosity. It is simple enough that it requires no real instructions (which is good because the ones supplied are minimalist). The display is clear and easily read. The included leads with alligator clips also work well and are an appropriate set to get going with.I tested it out over various voltage ranges and would say it is perhaps a percent off in voltage, although I think most of this is gain error. That is, it is perhaps 25mv off at 0v and 100mv low at 10v. I'll be generous and say my meter may be a contributing factor, however. To me, 1% is not a deal killer at all for a built in voltage meter on a box like this. In fact, it's pretty good. I just set the current limit to the middle of the knob range for this testing and did not attempt to measure amperage. It has a current meter, but it does not have current settings marked on the current limit knob. Once again, this is all OK for my use and it is within the expectations for the price.The fit and finish of the supply are decent and I do not find it embarrassing for my EE friends to see on my bench. It's great for messing with car audio and USB powered gear. The loads fall right into the sweet spot for this box.Happy to have a decent settable power supply.

I picked this up to use in a little fuel pump project so that I could move gas out of a large marine tank that I store as backup fuel for hurricanes. This power supply is used for testing the setup and it works great! The dials are really easy to control the voltages and overall amperage given to the device. There are 2 different modes and switching between them is seamless.I have tested it with a few other things and it has performed great. This power supply doesn't provide massive power (since its only 30V 10A max) but it is enough for most bench project type of devices and definitely also good for electronics.The alligator clamps work well and the voltages displayed on the screen are accurate (tested with a multi-meter).I will be using this for bench projects for the foreseeable future and will update this review if I brake the power supply.
