I use this on a customer's machine. They brought it back because it was getting antifreeze in pressurizing the cooling system. After tearing it apart the sleeve had sunk in the cylinder. I would not recommend purchasing this. This sellers junk parts has costed my business over $600.

After break in, when revving for the first time, the sleeve sank by .006 causing a blown head gasket. I had to have the casting machined down to be even with the sleeve and run a thicker base gasket to get it to work. The only other option for stock bore is genuine Yamaha part ($364) or re-sleeve the stock jug ($110 plus matchine shop fees). The bore was right on at exactly 100mm. There was some casting sand clumps in the water jacket that I had to chip out with a screwdriver. If I had it to do over I would buy a bored out genuine cylinder and oversized piston kit from eBay. I had already spent money on a nice wiseco piston so I was stuck with the 100mm size. I also had to spend another $50 to replace the cometic head gasket that blew when the sleeve sank.You can tell if your sleeve is fully seated prior to installation by trying to stick your thinnest feeler gauge underneath the sleeve flang and on top of the aluminum casting. This can be done through one of two larger coolant passage slots. If you find a gap there send it back and don't install it. It's no fun doing a big job twice because of poor quality parts.

I installed this on a 05 Raptor 660 for a customer after tearing down their engine to find the previous piston and cylinder damaged. This bolted right on. I checked the bore compared to the OEM and found them to be within a couple thousandths. New pistons and rings fit nicely. Machine runs great.

Had to clean up some of the edges as there was a little bit of metal left over. Could have left it without any issues, but would have bothered me. Lol. Great fit.
