What does it do?

NICHE DIFFERENTIAL SERVO MOTOR
A servo motor can be either a rotational or translational motor in which power is provided by a servo amplifier to apply force to a particular system, such as the brakes. Servo motors permit for more precise control in angular positioning, acceleration, and velocity. This motor functions using a closed-loop control system. This closed loop is the action of using the current electrical output and to maintain a desired state. The control action in system is based on the output of the motor. This a positive feedback system to move the shaft.

Headline says it all...Save your money and but OEM. I decided to cut corners on an old 2000 Grizzly that I use around the Farm and ended up just wasting my time and money. I installed it according to the factory manual and it worked one time...That was it...Just once...I actually laughed out loud, how fitting, tried to save a buck and now I'm not only out $69.00 dollars, but I'm going to have to purchase an OEM unit.
