There was a small dent in the piston. Not bad enough that it was unusable. Poor packaging for something that is made of aluminum.

I ordered a piston ring kit for my 660 raptor and I went to install and the piston ring lands were to small for the rings so I installed the new rings in the old piston

Previous owner ran the quad out of oil. I rebuilt it using this piston and have been riding it for 2 years. Does not smoke and doesnt burn any oil. Works like a genuine yamaha part
