I am not a pro welder but I can weld. I order these to try on my new everlast welder. Strikes and arc easy and weld cast iron super easy. Bonus its machinable .no pressure heat or post heat and I did 3 test welds. Ex element penetration , no cracking. Excellent rod for automotive cast iron, produced clean welds. Compare to muggyweld cast rods.

The Nickel 55 cast iron rod looks good. I will be welding old cast iron foot petals for a skidsteer. This will work well.
