The hat seems very cheaply made. Firstly it does not fit well on adults due to it being too shallow. This is very impractically to use for your pirate outfit because the hat will be sliding off the side with the slightest gust of wind

I bought this for a hat exchange at a party. It's well constructed and was a very popular trade. The felt has the appearance of worn leather. The party was for a group of international employees and we all brought hats representing our area. Mine represented a Minute Man from New England. After the maximum allowed trades, It finally ended up with a friend from Brazil. It was a very fun night.

This hat looks surprisingly great -- from a distance it really does look like weathered leather, even though it's not, and the snaps work well and help it hold its shape. Unfortunately, the fit is terrible -- simultaneously too big and too small. We tried it on several members of our family, with varying head sizes, and it didn't fit any of us! If you're trying to dress a mannikin for Halloween, or you need a pirate-y hat to hang on the wall in a play, this would be perfect. But if you want a hat for a child or an adult with an average-shaped head to wear, you should probably keep looking!

OVERALL:If you want a simple hat for a costume or prop, this will get the job done.PRO:It's sturdy enough, and the snaps hold the brim up. (Of course modern snaps aren't very period-correct or authentic.) Has a ribbon edging, so it's got a nice finished look and feel.CON:Beware that there is no adjustment for fitting. It will fit very large heads, but it will kind of flop around on average sizes and below. The depth of the "bowl" is also fairly shallow, so the hat will sit on the top of the head, and might droop into the eyes of smaller wearers. Also, you find yourself walking like you're balancing a book on your head to keep it from falling/sliding around.

It is a nice size for larger heads. Usually I have to alter hats to get a good fit. This one was the perfect size. I would not recommend this for teens or smaller heads. It will be took big, but if you have a larger head, this is perfect.

This tricorn hat is of pretty good quality for the price. It is very comfortable, if a little snug. It is only 23 inches on the inside, so it is not good for people with large heads. The size and shape are good. It is not heavy, but rather lightweight. It is a good hat for Halloween and Renaissance fair use, which is why I bought it.

Amo este tricornio, estaba buscando algo más decente que los tricornios de disfraz que suelen venderse, y este es perfecto, se siente como un sombrero real, no como utilería barata. Lo he decorado con mis propios pins y listones, le he añadido un listón debajo para fijarlo mejor a mi cabeza, y el tricornio ha resistido todo, y me ha acompañado en sol y lluvia por ya algunos meses, 100% recomendado. Mi única crítica es que es demasiado grande para la mayoría de cabezas, yo tuve que añadir por dentro una tela y una liga para mantenerlo firme, ya que se movía constantemente y me bloqueaba la vista.

Es un tanto delgado.La apariencia es tal como en las imágenes, sin embargo el interior es poco profundo y bastante ancho, para usarse con paliacate, peluca o de plano sin depeinarse.
