We love going camping, and these night vision goggles have been a fun addition to our trips! They’re not going to make you feel like you have superhuman night vision, but they work great for spotting little critters in the dark, which is always exciting. They’re lightweight enough to travel with and have a waterproof design, making them great for outdoor use. I’d say these are more for fun than serious surveillance or working on something in the dark. I’m not familiar with professional-grade night vision, but I wouldn’t consider these in that category. Still, they’ve been great for entertainment!

My wife and I have a travel trailer and love to go camping. One of the things we really like to do is watch the wildlife. To be honest I really didn't think this device would work very well but I was proven wrong. The San Yare Store night vision goggles really do work and allows you to see in the dark using infra red technology! This is really an entire kit that included everything needed to use the goggles. In addition to the goggles it comes with a USB C cord, neck strap, 32 GB TF memory card, and a very nice case to keep it all together. These goggles also allow recording 4K video and 48 megapixel images. The three inch screen is very bright and easy to view and it has a pretty large 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. This isn't a small child's toy. It's a functioning night vision goggle system that really works well.

The first thing to address is these are not real night vision goggles. They are digital binoculars with an infrared camera and infrared flash light.Pros:1. Complete set that includes case, strap, micro sd card, built in battery, charging cord and cleaning rag. They even included a cheap compass.2. Easy to use, the controls are intuitive and I was able to use without having to read the instructions.3. IR range of 1970 ft. The pictures of the tower is over 1/4 mile away. the first is just turning it on with no IR, the second is with the IR light on.4. The padded case is well made for protecting the device.5. Tripod mount on bottom.6. Manual focus.Cons:1. 3" display is on the smaller side.2. The images clarity is nowhere close to the listing photos. You can see the tower images, the one of the dog is from across the room with normal light.3. The device is made of hard plastic, even the the diamond pattern on the sides that should have been rubber for a better grip.Overall: These might be fun for a Nerf gun fight in the dark, or a game of after dark hide and seek. If you want to try to see what is making noise in the back yard, you might see an animal but figuring if it is a raccoon or skunk might be tough.

I wasn't expecting much from this, but it did a nice job of viewing at night time. The color version is a bit grainy at around 250 ft, but close up is better. The gray scale setting is much more well refined at longer distances, but make sure there isn't any close by branches, as this will white out the view. This isn't really a monocular, and is better suited for mounting onto a tripod. It feels a little odd not putting it close to your face like bino's, as you don't need to.

I have been looking for a good quality night vison device for my husband for a while. I decided to give this a try and wow this blew my mind. There are multiple settings to adjust the picture and the quality is really nice. This will be great for hunting season and I love that its light weight and not heavy. This does come with a strap so you can hang around your neck for quick access.
