Can not get a clear image at night from a distance under 50'. How does one ise this for hunting? Very blurry, lack of detail. Focus imprecise. Got for security. Can't see people in cars watching houses on block at night. Get big white blur for a head. Can't read a license. My security cameras are MUCH better and at dame distance. No use and just tried for first time. Two weeks past return. :( Paperweight.

Oh boy this product is outstanding it’s very clear when not in night mode. But night mode is spectacular. I recommend.

Very pleasantly surprised!! I was expecting a grainy low res picture but it was actually very crisp and clear! The built in infrared is very decent and illuminates very well. I’ve looked at deer and coyotes up to 300 yards so far! Can’t wait to use this more during coyote season!

Got this set of night vision to try out while I'm out in the woods hunting, or just for looking around at night to see what I can see. Overall, they are very nice, built with a sturdy polymer and metal, and the screen and lenses are very clear and easy to adjust. As a way to passively look around in the dark they are a very good option. I do like how there is both a digital and mechanical zoom available, and the dials are very smooth but still have enough friction to know it won't move around while you use it. As for features that I would love to see included, I would love to see an upgraded version with an auto-focus and maybe even a rangefinder, as well as a way to mount it to a tripod or a head harness to walk around with your hands free. As well as being a bit more efficient on battery power, 4 hours from 8 AA batteries feels like a bit more than it should be. They are a bit on the weighty side so the head harness not being a priority makes complete sense. I will need to test out the video and camera functions more before I can review them, I've mostly just been using for passive viewing. Apart from those little bits, I do really like these and plan to bring them out with me whenever I plan to walk around at night or watching wildlife.
