So won't slip off, or rotate. Keeps light off lens. It does need ot be removed to remove filters on lens. But, other than that, No issues.

perfect fit for lens and holds well . Just remember a shadow will be caused by the shade when using the camera's flash.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and fits my Nikon 8-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR lens perfectly. The hood has really helped me take better pictures on sunny days outside! Price is nice too, some of the other hoods can get pretty pricey.

It works for the Nikon 18-300 lens. However, it tends to break. The previous 2 broke with a minor trauma
