Plain and simple, get this light. Yes there are cheaper ones out there but they don’t hold a candle to Nite Riders quality… pun intended. Exclusivity use their lights for night riding mtn bike trails and races, thus when I was looking for a commuter light and went straight to Nite Rider.

I replaced my bike lights with these and so glad I did. The light gives high visibility going through tunnels which are pitch black to riding on trails. Adjustable intensity for any situation. Easy install too.

I found the standard handlebar mount a disappointment. Too much flex, and difficult to adjust the light position. I couldn't see Niteriders rubber strap mount as any sort of improvement, likely even more flex. I bought a KREMORV camera mount that attaches to the stem handlebar bracket and TUSITA camera mount attachment for this light. Faster and easier to adjust the light position if needed and less likely to move out of position. Everything is much more rigid and secure.

This front and rear bike light combo pack has greatly enhanced my visibility during night rides. The front light provides an impressive 650 lumens, illuminating the path ahead and making me easily noticeable to motorists. The rear light is also effective, with a bright 110 lumens that ensures I'm seen from behind. Both lights are lightweight and easy to install, and I appreciate the various lighting modes that allow me to adjust based on conditions. Overall, this set offers excellent performance and peace of mind while cycling in low-light environments.

The light quality is superb - I ride in the country and the mid to high settings are fantastic for night rides. Not sure of how well this would work mountain biking as I ride on the roads.One caveat is after my first use the light came off the mounting rack. I contacted Nite Ryder directly and they sent me a new rack free of charge and it hasn't done so since (and these trails can be bumpy), but it might happen again.Despite that I would recommend this product, especially if you ride on mostly peaceful pavement

The lights themselves were excellent. The rear light in particular is very bright and features a rubber elastic mounting system with a nice plastic holder for the light itself. The front light is very bright, offers multiple light features, is well made and holds a charge a long time. My only complaint is the front light mounting system which truthfully, looks dated. It is made of hard plastic and opens via a hinge on one side and a stainless adjusting screw to keep it closed. Two problems 1) It didn't have enough adjustment to close around my handle bars, thus requiring a layer of tape and 2) the adjusting screw hangs down below the handle bar close to your knee. They sell and optional elastic band mounting system for this light which I bought and works much better. So, they know the fix - they should use it

I like to ride my recumbent trike in the morning, leaving at first light before sunrise, or leaving before sunset and riding the last half of my 15 mile ride as the sun is setting. I've had Nite Rider headlights before, and I thought they were bright, but I was amazed at how bright this 110 lumnen tail light is, and even more amazed at how bright the 650 lumnen headlight is. Charge time is 2 -1/2 hours and run time for the headlight is from 2 hours to 12 -1/2 hours depending if you want to use the brightest mode or the lowest mode. Similarly, the tail light will work on the brightest mode for 1:45 hours and up to 17 hours using the lower modes. The USB charging mode is easy to use, the lights are easy to take on and off the mounts on the trike.
