The cable is terminated with NMEA 2000 5-pin connectors on both ends, with gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance. The cable is black and is shielded to reduce interference.

Completely unusable! The connectors on this “NMEA 2000” backbone are not compatible with standard NMEA 2000 connectors. I tried connecting it to my existing network and it simply wouldn’t screw on. The cable is clearly out of spec. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Stops working after a month. Then you can’t return it either. Wouldn’t want another one if it was free. POS.

In this day and age where depthfinders/GPS units are getting more and more intricate being able to use the two units (depthfinders/GPS) at the same time gives me loads of info at the same time...
