I got this to make carrying my Motorola radio easier and it really does make it convenient. Charge lasts about 7-8 hour or so, but if you switch it off or charge it here and there in your shift it should be fine. To charge I just put the whole radio with the battery in the charger.

I don’t get anymore time out of a charge than I do with other battery that has less storage space. Really disappointed in this battery.

The battery works as advertised. I would have given 4 stars but there was one hit that kinda got to me. The battery life is 8 hours which I still think is pretty good But I work 12 hour shifts and needed another 4 hours. I have since had to switch to the long battery and carry the short one as a back up. For a smaller battery to last 8 hours was still pretty good though.

I purchased two of these batteries one never worked right out the box and the other stop working two weeks after I used it.
