Had some of these several years ago and they worked really well holding your bra straps from showing. I lost a few of them and was so happy to find them on Amazon.

Maybe I’m just incredibly nit picky but it bothers me so much when my bra straps show in an outfit, and I absolutely hate feeling like I need to adjust my shirt all day to avoid it. These take care of the problem! Work well to make sure the straps stay hidden all day without constant adjusting. One negative though - wearing them with a backpack can be uncomfortable depending on where you place them and how your backpack straps sit on your shoulders.

I'm keeping these because they do work, but I didn't end up using them for the dress I bought them for. They just seemed a little thick and obvious under my particular strap, and I was nervous that the part that slides over your bra strap might come loose sideways. If I was just going to a normal event I wouldn't really care if they came loose and there seemed to be a low chance of that happening, but I was going to use them for a performance where all eyes would be on me so I couldn't risk it. Also, the device doesn't allow your bra strap to slide through naturally as you move, so if moved a certain way, it made my particular dress straps kind of stand up. But they could still come in useful for another outfit on another occasion, so I'll hang onto them. I definitely did not need this many though, just one pair would do the trick. It's not like you're going to keep them on your clothes and wash or dry-clean them there. (BTW, if you sew, I would think it would be much easier, more secure, and less obvious to just sew one of those little skinny ribbon straps with a snap inside the garment, but I didn't have time to figure out how to do that well.) The product itself is a quality product and seems safe, like it wouldn't come unpinned on the go. That part is well-secured.

These hooks were easy to install, taking care to pin through the seams in the dress strap, so as to not tear the material. Living in Florida I have many sleeveless dress and I don’t like the bra straps to slip. I found that I can leave them in when washing so I don’t have to keep putting them back. So I’m going to buy a couple more sets. They are sturdy and do the job.

These are brilliant, if like me you have tops that are just a little to big across the shoulders and it causes tour bra strap to show when you don't want it to, these stop that cold.No more constant fidgeting and adjusting, tucking the edge of your top under your strap in vain, if you want a solution that works, this is it

These did not work for me. It may just be user error but i could never get them in the correct spot. They were hard to pin. However, they did hold the straps, but for me they were always in the wrong place and the dug into my shoulder and hurt. The idea is great but just didn’t work for me.

They do the job but the underside of the clip is hard and sharp on the skin.

I think these strap tamers are a good idea for hiding the straps for camisoles or light weight bras, however, they didn't work for my needs which was trying to hide the straps of my thick bra straps under a light weight open neck tunic. I'd need something much more robust.

I am extremely large busted and also have narrow shoulders. That means all bras available in my size have straps closer in than many (any wider apart they'd slide off my shoulders anyway). Almost every top I own has a neckline that show my straps, and they're wide, not dainty, lacey straps like the pretty little bras have that most women get to wear! These are so much easier and they stay in place. I don't have to use a ton of fashion tape along with them, like I do with those little "ribbon/snap" styles. I do have some that you sew in. They look very feasible/functional, but I hate to sew so I haven't gotten around to them yet. Anyway, the only reason I gave these a four is because they can press into your shoulders. This usually isn't an issue for me as I also need strap pads and I can just be sure to tuck one end of the pad under the strap tamer. I'll be buying these wherever I can find them until I can afford reduction surgery!

For over 40 years I had the problem of my bra straps constantly slipping off my shoulders--so annoying. I always wear short sleeves (not sleeveless, so my straps did not show, but it bugged me to feel them slip down my shoulders. Then I discovered these marvelous bra clips. Problem solved! :-)I have ordered them 3 times and plan to order more. I'm going to buy enough to have clips inside every shirt and dress I own. That way I won't need to remove them from one shirt in order to insert them into another. There's no need to remove them before washing the clothing. The clips are tiny and delicate, but so far (after several months of use), none of them have broken. Even if they did, I'd just buy more. I'm very happy with these!Update on May 25, 2013: To give you an idea of how much I love these bra clips, I have so far ordered 13 packages of them! I've been using them daily since October 2012. I've never had one break and they always work great to keep my straps in place.

I bought these for use with a bridesmaid dress to avoid an annoying strapless bra, but these were SO terrible, guess what I ended up wearing. When I opened the package and removed the first clip, it literally snapped in half. I should have stopped and returned the item then and there. But I tried attaching the clip as directed. NOT an easy task. After about 30 seconds of trying, the next clip broke. After a few minutes of struggling, I finally got one clip in place. Another clip broke when trying to place the second clip. When both clips were finally in place, I put on the dress and... you could see the darn clips! When I attempted to take a a clip off to try and re-position it... guess what happened? It BROKE and I gave up.A complete waste of money and time!
