Very versatile in the different ways you can connect it to a bench or the corner of a bench or whatever your needs are. Great illumination and magnification! Just what an old fart like me needs to work on his various projects. Also comes in handy to read those damn button battery numbers๐ด๐ป

La lampe est utilisรฉe dans une piรจce plutรดt sombre. Grรขce ร elle, mon garรงon peut รฉtudier en soirรฉe ou travailler sur ses lรฉgos sans fatiguer ses yeux. Son grand bras articulรฉ permet d'รฉclairer son grand bureau qui a une largeur de 72 pouces. Ses matรฉriaux sont de qualitรฉ puisque qu'il reste ajustรฉ et les boutons ne se dรฉvissent pas avec le temps. Par contre, la loupe est difficile pour les yeux. Elle dรฉforme la vision et est inutilisable.

After using the "Magnifying Glass Desk Lamp with 3-Section Swing Arm" for a few weeks I can certainly say it's helpful working on electronics, but ultimately it fails to deliver. The first very noticeable problem is that the swing arm was actually meant for a heavier lamp assembly on the end. This makes the whole thing hard to adjust. (I removed one of the two springs closest to the lamp head and that improved the ease of adjustments. ) The second notable problem is that the swivel on the end where the lamp head attaches is either too tight or too lose, but never just right, making adjusting the angle of the lamp head more of a task than it should be. Third, the switch assembly is located on the cord which is inconvenient to use (would have been better if the switches where on the lamp head). Finally, there is a reason they don't mention how many lumens it provides, because it's not bright. Best guess would be the equivalent of a 25-watt incandescent lamp - about 150-200 lumens. Color rendering is okay overall, but not great (perhaps about 80CRI).

Quality is great, extra large size helps reach far.It's not too heavy given it's size.Stand is flexible and puts out great light to be able to see good in low visibility situations.

This item arrived safely packaged. I could tell right away that it was good quality as there was a nice weight to the product and not just cheap plastic.The product fastens easily to the side of the table and has different ways you can attach it depending on your setup.It is the perfect size for my table and I love the adjustability of the arm and the light. The light has different settings so you can adjust it to your liking.It has a nice long cord and stays powered all the time.It really has been the perfect addition to my crafting table and the magnifying glass has been a miracle for me working on miniatures.Overall a great product for the price!

This is another value / price balance. The magnifier and lamp, as far as I can determine, work as advertised, nothing more, nothing less.The item as a whole feels very light and a bit on the flimsy side. When I connected it to the clamp and stood it up, it could not hold its own weight. This was a case of loose nuts. Once all were tightened, and I do mean all, it stood up and articulated fine. As a matter of fact, I chose this model in particular due to its extra segment arm, not found in most other lamps. I find this to be most helpful in a tight space. The segment measure 13 in, 13 in and 9 in.The lamp is relatively bright, but certainly will not blind anyone. The 3 color modes and stepped dimming work, although the transitions donโt seem all that consistent between steps and color modes. The lamp control is not really in a convenient spot, but again, it works.The magnifier is glass @ 4 1/8 inch diameter encircled/encased in metal with an overall diameter of 6 1/4 inches. It is very clear with no distortions noted.While i wouldn't call this a high quality item by any stretch, its price point (albeit a bit high), places it at a fairly good value.

Finally, a truly sturdy lamp that stays just where I need it for detailed work.The three segment design (my prior lamp had only two) gives me a lot more control over where I put the lamp, but I wish you could move the last segment down more. You can see in the photo the last two segments are moved to their maximum down position, so lowering the lamp more also moves it further out on the desk. This is a minor complaint, since this is already better than other lamps I've owned, but still...A QUIBBLE: I wish the switch was by the lamp, not by the base. But the controls are easy to use and they have a tiny blue LED so it's always easy to find it.I gave this five stars because for the price, this is really a good light and much better than the cheap ones that never last.

Works just awesome. So nice to actually have light, be it writing, doing crafts or just seeing whatโs on your desk etc. we bought a second one for my wife ๐
