I’m a woman size 8 1/2 and these things kept slipping off my boots. I have them on five minutes and they slip off ..don’t waste your money.

Could NOT be more pleased with these. We have had a horrible winter so far and I had not been able to get my car out of my driveway for 2 weeks since it was on a blanket of ice at the bottom of a long driveway. I have fallen on the ice at my house which resulted in a cracked vertebrae. Due to the fact that I couldn't get my car out I had to walk to the top of the hill to catch a ride to work over THICK SOLID ICE. I have used a pair similar to this with coils on the bottom and they roll under my feet making me unsteady and extremely apprehensive on the ice. I bought these and let me tell you, I literally can RUN on the ice. I feel like a glacier climber LOL. They don't skid or slip and are much easier to put on and take off than the coil ones. If walking on ice makes you nervous, BUY THESE!!

Perfect for us as we live in Alaska and this winter has been warmer which means a lot of melt and freezing. Our driveway is steep and has been solid ice for weeks. These are easy to put on our shoes and save ourselves from slipping. I wish the strap part was made of more of a bungee cord material though since it feels like the rubber will stretch and give and we will eventually have to replace these. But these are perfect in a pinch.

These non-slip gripper spike traction cleats work very well! We had some snowfall in the past week and I've been dying to try these out. they fit rather well. I had to make some slight adjustments but once they're on, I don't feel them loosening up, even after walking for 10 minutes straight. It's a bit of an adjustment as well having them on. Going from snow-covered roads to non-snowy roads can be a bit of a challenge to navigate around. I think the built quality is just fine for what it is. At around $9 at the time of this review, though, you cannot beat that. I think this is a must-have for anyone living in an area that snows a lot. Highly recommend!

These ice cleats have stretchy tops and so are easily added to most any kind of footwear. I'm not sure if the rubber band-like top portion that stretches to slide over boots or shoes may wear out quickly, but right out of the box, these cleats really help secure my footing on icy, snowy surfaces.

The spikes themselves work well enough, but after walking around for just a short distance, they started to shift under my shoes. The nylon straps aren't adjustable so the bottom one tends to stick out more, causing it to wear quickly. The rubber band around the whole thing isn't very sturdy and they were noticeably looser after wearing them the first time. These would be good to keep in your car for emergencies, but not great for frequent use.

It fits a range of sizes, from big kids size 5 to women's size 11/mens size 9, at least that was the range I was able to test it on. It could go some smaller and a bit bigger it seems. They fit on snuggly, and the rubber really holds onto the shoe. It went into the grooves on the bottom of my shoe as well, which gave it even more stability. They're made well and seem sturdy. The metal seems long enough to get into the ice. It isn't icy here right now so I can't test it on ice, but it looks to raise my shoe at least a quarter of an inch to a half an inch when standing on hard floors, so it looks like it will go into ice plenty far enough to give me good grip. I like that this has two pairs in the pack as well! I feel amply prepared for ice now.
