These do not stick well all. Ordered two sets for all my stairs and because they don’t stick well they slipped out from underneath and caused an incident of someone falling down the stairs. I emailed asking for a refund and they only sent me back $25.00 for the entire two boxes. They said it was “good will”. Not impressed and would never order these again.

I love these, they stay put without heavy adhesive that is hard to get off from my steps.

We were looking for a dark brown set for a while, and these just appeared higher quality in the photos, then some of the others. We were pleased. The plastic on the back was really easy to remove. Unlike our prior set. There were a couple minor flaws on a few pieces, but the company was very responsive and Kind. We have ordered more. So soft to the touch and lovely brown.

Do not recommend, will not reorder.I need stair treads for several steps leading into my sun room to help several arthritic, senior dogs navigate these two wooden stairs. The stairs are under an overhang. So, first, they do not stay in place. I cleaned the stairs thoroughly, let dry, and followed installation instructions. I have since ordered carpet tape; no point having these slip when the whole point of ordering these was to provide safe and secure step navigation! Second, they are not thick and plush as shown in the product pics. Rather, much thinner, shorter pile. I specifically ordered these for their promised plushness, as this would have also helped my dogs! Glad I only ordered a set of 4.

This product is one of those things you don’t really think about needing but are glad you have once installed. The steps from my garage into my laundry room had been left bare for years which meant more dirt grit, leaves, grass clippings, moisture, or mud was making it into my home.The Smilool four pack carpet treads for INDOOR wooden steps not only dress up those bare steps and add some traction but also serve to dislodge some loose bits from the souls of your shoes by simply walking on their carpeted soft surface. The fact that they have a built-in adhesive on the back once you peel off the clear plastic film, means they will remain in place and look symmetrical instead of untidy. The brown color they come in is symbiotic with the natural wood color of the steps. See photo. It’s a good thing !
