I had previously gave this a 3 star rating and received a message from seller explaining the temperature setting range could be adjusted. I made and adjustment and I'm quite happy with the results. Before the adjustment the temperature would go several degrees above the set temp before shutting of the furnace. Now it works perfectly. I would recommend this product. Easy to install, set, see as it has a blue light back ground.

I bought this thermostat to replace a 20 year old Robertshaw Model 9600 thermostat. It was a pretty easy replacement. The new thermostat included a sheet of labels, to put on the thermostat wires, for identification. That was very convenient. To start, I took a bunch of photos of my old thermostat's wiring, for reference. Then before disconnecting the wires from the old thermostat, I put the labels on the wires. Once all the wires were disconnected, I removed the old thermostat. I decided to clip off the exposed ends of the wires, and strip a new segment, to get a fresh connection point. I was able to slide the labels down the wire a little further, which saved me the trouble of cutting off the labels and making new labels. It went pretty smoothly. I had a little difficulty getting a good connection on the R wire, because of the presence of the jumper wire from the R pin to the Rc pin. I took me a couple of tries to get the two wires positioned, in the R pin receptacle, so that they would both be held tight by the screw.

I purchased this thermostat since my existing Honeywell thermostat had a non-adjustable 1 degree differential setting. I was seeing my heat/AC going on & off numerous times trying to keep the temperature within one (1) degree of the temperature (set point) I selected. The Suuwer thermostat has an adjustable comfort/differential setting feature which allows you adjust when your heat/cooling will come on & off (+/- 2 degree range). For example, if you select your heat setting at 67 and put the comfort setting at 2, the heat will start when the temperature reaches 65 and stop when it reaches 69. This results in less on/off wear & tear with your HVAC system and, in my experience, less electric/gas usage. I set my Suuwer thermostat comfort setting at 1.5 for the heat mode and saw that my furnace then only came on once every 1-2 hours. The thermostat was easy to install. I recommend that you watch a video on thermostat installation in addition to reading the included manual. Take a picture of the wiring of the old thermostat and clip the wires when you detach them so the wires don't slip behind the wall. In addition, there is a button on the Suuwer thermostat where you select gas or electric based on your furnace type. Please note there is a 5 minute compressor delay feature that appears to be a default setting which can be turned off if needed. The Fahrenheit/Celsius preference is also adjustable on this thermostat.

I've never installed a thermostat in a house before, and it's very self explanatory as long as you don't have anything fancy. We moved into an older mobile home trailer and had one of the old junky thermostats from the 80s in it still and my husband wanted something to actually tell us what the temperature was in here. Luckily we only had 4 wires. RED (R) is power, WHITE (W) is Heating system, GREEN (G) is Fan, and YELLOW (Y) is AC. Our trailer does NOT have a freaking diagram of which breakers kill which power (So now I'll be looking for a sticky one to put in our breaker box for future reference) So I kept the power OFF on the old thermostat while hooking up the rest to the new one, one by one. Red power wire was last. It works great!! I'm a chick and figured it out! 🤣

Our previous thermostat didn't need changing but I happened to see the Suuwer and decided to change since our a/c service man was coming out he could change thermostat while he was here. Our previous thermostat had too many steps to change the settings, one had to press the button till the fan showed up on the screen, then press the button again to get to the heat/cold setting on the screen, then keep pressing again to to make the change one wanted. The Suuwer has the fan/auto right on the front of the screen & one just slides the button left or right to whichever setting is needed. Also, the cool/heat/off setting is on the front panel and again just move the button to which ever setting is wanted. Best part, our previous thermostat had to be removed from the wall in order to access the battery compartment which then had to be removed from the thermostat in order to change the 3 AA batteries then reinserted back into the thermostat. The Suuwer has the battery section right on the front, and one only has to open the little door in a downward position to change the batteries. Also, when the battery is low it will show on the screen. When I looked online for the warranty, it showed a 2 yr warranty, it said to call Amazon for help. It's a great analog battery for simple changes as my husband and I are always changing it, he wants it colder, I want it hotter. So no programming needed and the "Price is Right". Hopefully it will last.

My old thermostat was ancient and not functioning properly. The buttons were sticking and sometimes it would malfunction on the temp. If I set it to 72 degrees, it would keep the furnace going and not shut it off. I ordered this one and got it the same day. It was very easy to install and came with an RH/RC wire. I timed how many times my furnace is coming on now and it’s 3 in an hr instead of countless times with my old one. I like the black light feature too so I don’t have to turn the lights on to see it and the kids can work it with ease. No more hold button! I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t know how it works with the AC yet since it’s winter

works as it should, nice unit, installed in my 5th wheel that does not have a C wire, so the battery operated part was perfect, easy to see and not a lot of unneeded buttons or functions
