Quite honestly, this is the most expensive Life Jacket I have ever seen for a dog! Vinny loves the water, but he was not keen on modeling for the pics I uploaded for this review.There are so many things to consider when ordering a pet life vest ... you'll want to know your dogs weight, collar size and girth of their belly area. Non stop Dogware offers 6 sizes in this polyester life vest, with foam buoyancy packets on each side, adjustable straps for a good fit, and a sturdy velcro fastener for your dogs underbelly.The bright orange color of the life vest makes it easy to keep an eye on your pet, especially in the water. Vinny is a veteran paddleboarder, but he also likes to jump off the board for a cool dip. When he's wearing this Life Jacket, it is especially easy to retrieve him by grabbing the sturdy handle on top of the life vest. There is also a plastic loop on top of the vest where you could attach a waterproof tag with your campsite location and/or License Plate number, even though your pet wears his dog tags on his collar.Although this life vest is quite pricey, think of the alternative, the safety of your pet is what is most important. This is a well made, heavy polyester life vest with very secure buckles and plenty of options for a good fit.

Ordered Size 6 for a 60lb female shepherd mix dog.Fits well but had to expand the straps all the way they could go. I probably should have went with size 7 but size 6 fits perfectly once fully extended straps. This has to go through the dogs head to wrap around the neck before snapping the chest/belly clips closed.Floatation in water works great! We are on a slow moving river and many people and dogs swim in. There are lots of little "pocket" like areas in this jacket so anything floating in the water may get stuck in the jacket. Not a big deal, but we have to clean it out after removing it from our dog.My dog doesn't really act like she's even wearing anything so my guess is that this feels like any other harness for her. Meaning, I believe this isn't uncomfortable and my dog has no problem wearing it. She acts the same as if she wasn't wearing it.I like the color as any boaters can easily see her. As she's a black dog, having this orange really helps people see her and know where she's at.Overall, loving this jacket; just be careful about the size you order.

The life jacket has a nice, streamlined fit. The design is well thought out... providing great buoyancy with minimal bulk.I've only used it once so far, but seems to be high quality.

My 11 yo Weimaraner needs some assistance now. Her brain wants to swim, swim, swim, but her body can't take the long swims. Now she can:) This vest fits so good and she floats above water as she swims. She knows ot helps her. She is 70 lbs with 34 inch chest. We have a size 7

I have tried a few diff doggie life jackets and this is the first with the floats above the body line. Not only does this not keep the dogs body high enough to keep its head out of the water which is the whole point and does just the opposite, pushes down on the dog darn near drowning him. For the price this is an expensive way to drown your dog!

Diese Weste schützt nicht vor dem ertrinken! Marley (15 jähriger 35 Kilo Labbi) wollte vorher einen Ball holen für den er kurz ein bisschen schwimmen musste. Allerdings hat er den Ball nicht beim ersten versuch erwischt und ist weiter hinter ihm hergeschwommen. Mit den Schwimmkörpern so weit oben ist er allerdings doch so weit im Wasser das er Wasser in den Hals bekommen hat und sich verschluckt hat. Hab dann mal wieder hinterherspringen dürfen und habs geschafft ihn rauszuholen, kurz bevor er Ohnmächtig geworden wäre. Am Ufer ist er dann zusammengesackt und hat n paar Minuten gebraucht um überhaupt wieder aufstehen zu können. Für einen effektiven Schutz müssten die Schwimmköprper deutlich weiter unten platziert werden. So kann er zwar nicht komplett untergehen, ertrinkt aber trotzdem und vermittelt somit eine sehr trügerische Sicherheit!

I was not excited about spending so much for a life vest when you can find cheaper ones BUT I wanted a life vest for my pup that was vented and comfortable for her because she wears it for many hours. She needed to be able to sit, stand, run and swim with ease and comfort. With this jacket she seemed so much happier and cooler. She floated beautifully when needed. It's easy to use with a leash. Great quality and it looks pretty awesome too.I wish I would have purchased this vest for my pup last summer. You live and learn.

Works as advertised! thought my dog would hate it, he doesn't mind it at all. He's a low fat high muscle guy (unlike myself) , this vest assist him in staying afloat; keeps him swimming comfortably swimming in the Gulf of Mexico with his mom and I.

Die Schwimmwest gibt mir ein sicheres Gefühl und meine Hündin trägt sie gerne und sieht super damit aus- falls das eine interessiert. Ich habe einige ausprobiert und die waren sperrig.Sie Weste ist ihr Geld wert und sie dient auch als Warnweste. Ich ziehe sie auch an, wenn wir durch den Wald stromern. Falls sie weg läuft und der Jäger schießt, kann er nicht sagen, dass er sie nicht gesehen hat...und sie schütz ein wenig vor Sträuchern. Im Straßenverkehr ist sie auch gut zu sehen.
