We have hardwood floors throughout the house, so these work well in little one's play room. They are durable, easily cleaned up, and cushion the falls of a newly walking toddler. I took off a star because he was able to tear of the ends and eat the little chunks of foam. It makes for a colorful diaper change. I don't know if there's anything he can't bite into, but other than that, these have been great!

I have been buying these for the last 10 years. The last set I bought was 2 years ago and all those years they were the same size and density. These are by the same manufacture and item number but they are just a little bit smaller so they do not interlock any more. Also they are slightly thinner and I noticed that the foam has tinny little air holes where the older ones do not. The company has gone cheap -- no quality anymore. I have our garden shed floor lined with them and the patio where we set up the grandkids pool each year. This year we got a larger pool and needed just three more to add to the ones we had to fill out a 12' x 12' area. None of our local stores carry these anymore so I was happy to see them on Amazon until they came and saw that they are no longer any good. We are getting a larger garden shed and I was going to get more to line that floor too but not now. I have to come up with something else. I am really disappointed that another company has sacrificed quality for profit.

I'm actually disappointed because I read all the other reviews that said there was no odor, but the mats I received had an odor. I'm wondering if everyone else just didn't put the product up close to their nose and that is why they did not notice it. It's not overpowering like the Prosource brand I had to return, but I put it close to my nose because I specifically bought these for my 6 month old who spends a lot of time on his tummy and I wanted to pad our hardwood floors that he plays on. Also the product description said that the mats were textured on both sides; mine are not. The only thing I can say that I do prefer is that they are thicker than the We Sell Mats brand. If the odor does not dissipate in a day or two I will be returning these for the We Sell Mats brand because I have previously purchased those and they have no odor whatsoever.

I purchased many sets (and have already ordered more) to cover the floor in our living room. Hey, it may look like romper room but the children enjoy it and my old bones don't mind playing on the floor quite so much now. The colors are VIBRANT. The foam is THICK. I am very pleased so far. Over the past decade I've used other brands and here are some tips I've learned the hard way...1-Always duck tape the undersides at the seams. We use them in a high traffic area and over time all foam products will expand and loosen which allows tiny particles to fall between the seams, get under the mat, and promote sliding or even detachment. Using an adhesive to attach it to a thin rug helps a lot but we've been happier with the duct tape. Just be sure to use a quality brand of tape.2-DO NOT MOP THEM! Too much moisture can ruin the floor beneath them (ours is wood), lead to slipping, and cause mold between the seams. Instead we clean ours with Clorox Wipes. They are SO easy to clean! Our household has been healthier with these mats than when we used a big area rug.3-Avoid mats with cutouts in the center. Children will love pulling them up again and again and over time they won't fit as tightly so eventually when they run through the room that favorite letter will slip out of place and send them flying. Accidents waiting to happen. IF you do choose cutouts be sure to coat them with adhesive and affix them to a thin rug. It will help but moving your rug in the future will be a real pain.4-Avoid placing heavy items on them. The foam will bounce back if you place a stool on it to change the light bulb overhead but couch/chair imprints are far less likely to rebound.5-Avoid high heel shoes and cleats. They will leave tiny circular imprints wherever you step. Cleats can cut into the mats!6-Sock friendly. We preserve the life of our set (again, highly trafficked area) by removing our shoes. It definitely helps keep them cleaner.7-Our daily clean is to sweep the mats. Sometimes we run the vacuum over them. Really, they are not hard to clean which is a BIG plus at our house!This Norsk-Stor set is exercise and play friendly. We first ordered conservatively but have been pleased enough to finish our space with them.

Wonderful product. We use it as a floor for our tent and canopy. Saves the feet and the tent bottom. I'm planning to buy this product again. I believe I have made at least two purchases. When the edges are on the flooring I believe it's a bit bigger than 2ft X 2ft. Easy to clean up when wet also. Product does not seem to absorb water easily. When tearing down camp in the rain we just put them in a big garbage bag and cleaned them up at home. I'm sure they are great for kids to play on.

I didn't buy this product to put on the floor. I use this product to block my crochet projects once I finish them. This works fantastic for this project. They are soft so the pins go into them easily without leaving holes and the best part is that they are waterproof. Once I sized the project I was working on I squirted water all over the yarn so it was pretty wet. Wasn't necessary to put anything under the squares. No water leaked or seeped thru. I now am thinking about getting a set to put in front of my kitchen sink. They are really comfortable to stand on and wipe clean. Warning for people with cats. They love to claw this material because it's soft. I caught my cat before she did too much damage. Other than that, I love these squares!
