The padding in these shorts are great, way better comfort for the hooha than previous shorts. Nice length on the legs and mid rise. Does not roll up. No intoxicating plastic smells. Look great. Sizing matched street clothes for me.

These seem to be good quality, and the padded seat is adequate (though wider than my favorite old bike shorts; it’ll take a little getting used to the bulk). Biggest drawback for me is aesthetic. These are a bit longer than needed, and that snug, wide thigh band borders on uncomfortable. It also creates a bulgy, somewhat uneven look I’m not crazy about. But I wear these (with additional hip padding) under workout pants for skating, so I can live with the aesthetic issues.

These shorts are great. The gel padding works well for longer rides. They fit well in length and don’t ride up. Definitely will buy another pair. I did go a size up based on recommendations.

I love these. I like that they have a very large adhesive band that doesn’t squeeze my quads and look funny. Very comfortable. I want to buy more but they don’t have any mediums. The large is OK but a medium would be better. I have Two pairs of these and was willing to get the large because I like them so much. I am 5”2 , 127 pounds

Wow these are best bike shorts I've ever bought. I have several others that were more than double and can't compare to these. They look amazing and are so comfortable on rides( must be the gel technology) I used to think bike shorts ugly, this shorter length so cut and higher waist fits like dream. Well done northhill. Not just good, they are league of own. Great value, I will be ordering in every color.

Order to big. Have to pay to return, they say they reimburse you once received? Received item the day before I was leaving on bike trip. So not able to make to post office in time, no UPD here. Time frame to return will not work as fine for two weeks. Due to the hassle of return, fitting off and item see through, not great quality, think not fitting, cushioning is standard nothing special. Will never order again, as it looks like I am stuck with them and out money. Not embarrassed.

These fit and feel great. I wore them for a basic mountain bike ride and my butt had very minimal soreness the next day. These shorts are a good thickness and aren't see through at all. They also have holding elastic on the thighs that stay put on bare skin or a second layer (like thermal leggings for colder weather). They didn't move at all during my ride and the padding was barely noticeable while riding (except for the fact that it hurt a whole lot less!) These are a great affordable option for padded bike shorts! My only complaint (which is an easy fix and is mostly aesthetic) is that the padding is quite obvious and I prefer to wear shorts on top of them.
