This is an extremely surprising piece of work out and/or casual wear. First off the fit was perfect for me. I got the XXL. I'm 6', 215lbs so not small. But this gave me a relaxed, comfortable fit. The cloth hangs nicely and seems pretty immune to wrinkling.The fabric has a nice stretch but has so far shown no signs of getting saggy or stretched out of shape. It does breathe well and does a good job of wicking away sweat. The stretch in the fabric makes it perfect for active wear. And again it does all that while-to me at least-looking very stylish.This has nice little reflective touches. Nothing to large but they do reflect nicely. And they add just a little distinguishing dash that takes this from being just another piece of active wear to something kind of special.This is extremely lightweight and feels super comfortable against my skin. This is not your standard hoodie.Today was a cool day. A little too cool-for me at least-for just the hoodie. So I put a lightweight vest on over it. There was just a hint of a breeze. That's where the thumbholes in the cuffs came in handy. I was walking with a friend and having the bulk of my hands covered from the breeze was perfect. Once I'd warmed up I took my thumbs out and it was perfect.We went out to a casual diner for a bite after the walk. I felt perfectly comfortable wearing this hoodie for dinner.It fits great, super for activities. It's versatile, nice looking and feeling. Frankly I have paid this much and more for some tee shirts. This was a great deal and I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

My husband tends to get hot easily and sweats a lot, but this hoodie is a comfortable fit for him. He’s really happy with it. No complaints at all.

Perfect for doing anything outdoors. Breathable and keeps the sweat at bay. Also dries quickly and the quality is nice.

The shirts a good fit, though a little loose. I generally wear a medium-large shirt and this one fits like a large, but wider, so it’s kinda flowy. The arms are tighter than you’d expect considering the wider torso, but not uncomfortably tight. The hoods almost oversized though, why I like since I can pull it up over a ball cap easily.The dark grey color is almost like a dark slate blue, looks great in person. The fabric is light and breathable, but the knit isn’t particularly loose either. Overall a great shirt for the outdoors.

The Northyard hoodie is a better than average hoodie and an extraordinary value for very warm or hot weather where sun protection is needed. Given the endless sea of mediocre similar hoodies, this is a pleasant surprise.The fabric is the biggest surprise. Compared to most hoodies, the fabric is very cool to the touch and suitable for very warm to hot weather. It is well ventilated with many tiny perforations, but the holes are not large enough to create any modesty problems. The fabric is soft to the touch and much more stretchy than typical, making for a very comfortable feeling on the skin.The seams are better than average. Around the collar, the back side has covered seams, although the front near the collar bones are not flat locked. The shoulder seams are flatlocked as is the upper seam on the arm. However, the underside of the sleeves are conventional seams. The sides of the torso, unusually, have two seams on each side, one of which is flatlocked and one of which is not. Overall, the seams are very good, but the most sensitive and picky may notice the conventional non-flatlocked seams. Most will find the seams to feel soft and this will be suitable for short to medium distance runs.The thumbholes are well integrated and are not noticeable unless you need them.For those needing coverage in warm to hot weather, this is an unusually good hoodie and an excellent value.
