Little bit narrow, had to shim where it goes into channel or would have rattled constantly. Ball socket is machined roughly and not snug at all on trailer ball.

I ordered the 2 5/16 and it is VERY loose around the ball. You can move it over a quarter of an inch in any direction. This might be ok off-road on a farm if you need something cheap but for the road it’s a safety issue. Do yourself a favor and buy a Demco for $100ish. Last year I bought a Demco for my other trailer and it is snug around the ball. Barely any movement and is better quality. I bought this one hoping it would be good quality for half the price after reading the reviews on here. Boy I was wrong! I will be returning this and paying double for a better quality one.

I love the bulldog style hitches. Heavy duty cast head that wraps completely around the ball. You won't go wrong with this hitch.

Easy to install and very secure. I flipped a trailer with one of these and it still held on. To release all you do is pull the pin and slide the collar back and it springs open releasing the ball.
