Just upgraded my NP205 in my 79 Silverado to twin stick, Since the cab was from a 2wd (camper special) I went with the Cable shifters (Worked great)...Watch a few of the you tube videos on the net before attempting the shift rod install. The rear install when as normal, following the on line videos i found, but none showed the front install. You really do not need to install the front shift rod, but since it was in the bag (and looked so shinny) and needed to replace the seal anyway, I installed it. The shift fork WILL fall on the front shift rod, Remove the large aluminum side cover (be careful to find ALL the needle bearings. This will give you just enough space to see the fork between housing and gear, I used a screw driver to hold it in place from back side as i installed the shift rod from front. Prior to re-installing this cover, use grease to hold the needle bearings in cover and carefully install back on gear. The rest went just the same as completing the rear install. I also purchased the shift tension adjuster studs and am very happy with this product. Thanks for reading
