The battery has worked well in my camcorder. I have no complaints about the battery life. I've used the charger for this NP-FV70 battery as well as some NP-FH50 batteries and it has been fine. It is very nice to see a charging level instead of a single LED that just says it is charging.

Fits my HDR-CX110 just fine. The battery also has no problems holding a charge. However, I did run into a problem.The only issue I had was that the battery didn't fully fit inside the charger. It was about a millimeter or two short of making contact with the charging pins. I ended up getting some needle-nose pliers and snapping off the bottom tabs on the charger. This allows the battery to reach the pins and start charging. I don't know if I got a defect or not, but it was a minor inconvenience.

I purchased this battery/charger model particularly for the charger with an LED Charging Indicator. I have an older version (still sold) which charged perfectly, but I had no idea of the battery level was other than the in-camera meter. I have several original FV70 batteries which are showing their age; now I can better judge the current charge level.The battery supplied with this charger appears to be excellent (still new). I am very satisfied with this battery/charger unit.
