I bought this item to limit the in-rush current to the vacuum tube heaters in a vintage radio, and it worked very well.

I am using these to greatly reduce filament inrush into a Dynaco ST-70. I put two in series in the mains supply for an even longer warm up period. Because I used two of these I installed them in a separate cabinet so I could also fit a timer (Amperite 115N060) to shunt them out after 60 seconds. If ever replace that timer it will be with the 15 seconds version.As the headline states, these worked as they should in bench testing and work fine in the application too.

CL 90 function as advertised with 120 ohms then reduced in resistance to offer soft start on Tube Radio.The only problem was that I would have ordered more than one, but the shipping ( Non Prime) was added to each item.Would like to see them on Prime shipping.
