1. Turn on the vehicle and automatically turn off the start-stop function after 8 seconds.
2. After starting the vehicle for 8 seconds, long press the start-stop button for 5 seconds to switch on or off the start-stop function by default
Note: The device will work if the ignition has been off long enough for the dash display to shut down (about 30 seconds by default). If you cycle the ignition off, then back on too quickly, it will not work. In those rare cases, just press the button as normal to disable A-Off. Otherwise, in all other circumstances, it works great!

Extremely easy to install! I’m so glad that a reliable electronic bypass has been made available to us. The Start/Stop system is totally useless and should never have been installed on any vehicle.Great product!!

Product works good but when you turn off car and restart immediately it does not, you will need to wait about 20-30 seconds and will work good. I would recommend this if the auto start stop drives you nuts like me! Watch several youtube videos how to install.

I installed this in my wife's 2024 RAV4 this morning and it works exactly as I expected. Installation is pretty simple. I recommend that you watch this YouTube video: "Toyota RAV4 DISABLE Auto Start/Stop Feature - Turn ON and OFF permanently [2024]". It's for a similar product and really helps you understand how to install it, as the instructions that came with the product are kind of useless.The provided tools are sufficient for the job. This cable plugs between the Start/Stop switch and the cable that runs to the back of that switch and the recommended way to install is to remove some trim and console pieces (they just pop up easily, so don't be afraid of this) to get to the back of the switch. I found another video that says you can pop the switch out but it fails to show you exactly how to do that. I experimented a bit and finally decided it would be easier to just pull the trim pieces.One hint for you, though: The video talks about removing the 10mm bolt that holds the chromed trim piece in place around the edge of the console. When you do this, be VERY careful and take your time. This bolt goes through the trim piece and into a clip-on nut plate that provides the threads that the bold screws into. On my car, the nut plate was not secured tightly to the plastic that it slips over, and when I pulled the bolt out, I must have wiggled it a bit, and that nut plate dropped down into the area below the shift knob. Thankfully, I was able to use a magnet to retrieve it, then just slip it back over the hole the bolt goes into after tightening it up a bit. Just be gentle when removing that bolt and make sure you don't lose that metal nut-plate!Once in place, it works like a champ! When you start the car, after about 5 or 6 seconds, the little light will come on indicating that the start/stop is turned off. The instructions mention one thing that you should know:If you shut the car off, then start it again BEFORE the dash display clears (mine shows trip information for about 30 seconds after you turn off the car), the auto start/stop will be active again. Not a big deal, you just push the button like normal to disable it, but just be aware that shutting the car off and restarting it in less than 30 seconds will probably mean that the start/stop will be on again. The Nulth is not defective. You just need to wait 30 seconds before restarting.I'm now a hero with my wife! Great value for the price!

The installation took about 20 minutes. There are YouTube videos that walk you through it. The device tucks away out of sight behind the switch. It works flawlessly on my 2024 Rav 4 XLE and I never have to manually override the annoying engine shutoff now.

All works as expected. Great price I’m happy.Update: after 4 months: works 50% of the time. Especially if you use the app to remote start it. Looking into better solutions.

Installed this item on my 2024 Toyota RAV-4 XLE to by-pass the hated Start-Stop feature. It was relatively easy to install and it does the job as advertised. The kit includes the tools necessary for installation. However, I used a 10mm socket, ratchet and 6" extension to make accessing the bolts easier. The enclosed paper instructions were not easy to follow but there are several YouTube videos available that explain how to install the product.

Works perfect. Note, turning the car off and then back on too quickly, it won’t engage. However, if the car has been off long enough for the radio to fully turn off, then it works perfectly.
