This model of the Nunn Bush Cameron Oxford is such a delight to wear and it has a solid outer sole that will take you many miles. I have had this model for over 15 years in Brown and Black and still .ove them. This particular model is nicely sewn leather that is attached solidly to the rubber sole.

Stop wearing pointy shoes if you have wide feet! Your feet will ache, the bones don’t want to be smooshed together in a pointy toe box. These comfy moccasin style shoes are the best shoes I’ve ever had as an adult.No- they aren’t stylish. Not everyone is a GQ skinny model with freakishly thin bones and able to wear pointy ridiculous elf shoes. I’m a man - I do man things all day like standing and walking and training workers in a machine shop. If you have foot pain maybe you need to see if your shoe size has changed or what you thought was your shoe size was wrong. Maybe you have wide feet. Maybe your feet aren’t at that tween age or size and aren’t a size eleven or twelve and are a size thirteen wide? Get thee to a Nunnery, Go!- go buy Nunn-Bush shoes in Your size and feel great.The soles aren’t fancy leather, only the uppers are leather, they’re perfectly serviceable shoes, although the rubber/rubber like sole probably aren’t replaceable like properly made goodyear welt shoes are made. Unrelated to the tire company, the good year welt method of making shoes allows the leather uppers of quality shoes to be completely removed from worn soles and refitted by the skilled craftsman known as Shoemakers.If you ever want shoes that fit Perfectly and feel amazing then you go to a shoemaker who measures each of your feet and makes a solid replica of your feet- or scans them with a 3D scanner and makes a computer model of them. Then they carve or 3D print them and use new materials of your choice to make new shoes of whatever style you like, pointy or not, cowboy boots, anything you like. They know how they’re supposed to fit because they have copies of your feet. When the soles wear out they can put new soles or heels on them, even replacing the lining if necessary or you simply want a different lining.If you can’t afford custom shoes at the very least make sure as an adult that you are wearing the Right size and width of shoe. When you get older your feet might swell or if you’re a woman and have children your feet might change size. This happens. Make sure you get shoes that fit.

These shoes lasted exactly one year. In one year the sole had a big hole in it. In one year the shoe uppers had lost all shape and firmness. It was like I was wearing deflated tires on my feet. The look is very plastic-like. They say it's leather. Doesn't look like leather to me (or anyone else). Looks like a synthetic with plastic in it. Very shiny. But the gel sole can't be beat. These shoes are the most comfortable of any other shoe on the market. But again, that comes at a price. The shoe falls apart little by little starting at about 6 months until one year and then they implode. But they feel good. Even with a hole in them.

These are very nice-looking shoes. They are a gift for my guy for Christmas. I bought him a pair of brown ones a couple years ago and he said they were really comfortable, and he is still wearing them. I wanted another pair in black for him. If they wear and are as comfortable as the brown ones, he'll be happy. I would recommend these shoes for men and for casual or dress. Really nice.

I'm a diabetic and retired old guy. This is my third pair of Nunn Bush Cameron Walking Oxfords. They are very comfortable and made of good quality material. Will buy again.

Comfortable, look good and fit well. Hate the round shoelaces as they won't stay tied without knotting the bow. Looking for flat laces to replace the others.

As you must relaize after seeing that I've puchased five pairs of these shoes over the years, consecutively, I must love them. I do.And at first I couldn't beleive Nunn Bush continued to make them. So many times it seemed whenever I got to like a certain shoe, I couldn't ever find them again. They'd been discontinued.Eventually though i realized they must sell a ton of them to guys like myself. And I started noticing guys wearing them. I was once in the Caribbean on vacation and a local yelled out to me, "Hey mon, Nunn Bush," as he pointed to his shoes. He was wearing a pair of Camerons. I laughed. I was in a club i wasn't aware of.Bottom line, great fit, really well made with high quality materials, with a generous toe box and broad substantial heel (both together in one style that I look for in a shoe), and always really comfortable. It takes about three seconds to break them in. I've been impressed at how even the stitching has been so consistently over the years. Factory obviously has great quality control.And because I live outside Buffalo, NY, it's a great shoe in the winter (1 and 1/2" heel, 1" sole). I have several in different stages of wear for what I need at the time. They are great for casual dress up, hiking, just walking around in town, working around the house, or whatever. Even in the summer months they never feel hot. Cushioned throughout, even the tongue, and a gel heel.I'm not crazy, i just love the style (its looks,), how well it wears , and how it feels. Its a great shoe for the $$.
