Well built, decorative lantern, used along with battery candles (sold separately), to light a old tavern style breakfast nook.

I plan to hang the lantern outside under a roof. Quality is great overall, and how it is packaged is very well done. The four glass panels are not assembled for their protection in shipping, and are easily assembled without tools. I expect the lantern to last for many years.

Nice lantern but pointless if you give glass that doesn't even come close to fitting!!! Very disappointed. Needed this in time for Xmas.Update 1: Started the process for a swap. Lantern is inbound I will change my review if different.

Very cute lantern. Glass comes separately so there is minor assembly required. It’s pretty easy. I ordered two, though, and assembly was terrible on one….the glass did not fit whatsoever. As you can see in the pic, two lanterns, two different sizes of glass. So, one lives glass less on one side.

So many of these type lanterns are plastic and look cheap. I wanted one made out of metal with a high quality look that I would enjoy for years. I included it in my coffee table decor and it’s beautiful for every season ! You do have to buy your own battery candle to go in it but I actually think that’s a plus . If the candle stops functioning you can just replace it instead of throwing the entire lantern away. That also gives you the option of using any size or color candle you’d like. All in all this was a great purchase!
