These boots are so much lighter than any pair I’ve had before. They are still very sturdy and honestly easier to walk in compared to most boots I’ve had before also. Before all I bought was fox boots, will probably stick with this brand from here on out

Summary: Overall quality is good, fit a little different than I'm used toThese boots fit well, with the exception of what follows. The toe box seems a little bigger than my previous Fly boots, so that my previous muscle memory of sticking my toe under the shift lever has to be retrained to dig a little deeper so that it fits. Not necessarily an issue, just have to relearn, and it's not quite as easy to shift as before. Also, my previous knee pads fit well under the top half of the Fly boots; these seem a little more constricting; they were fine while riding all day, but when I took them off, the knee pad fabric had indented one leg quite a bit, making it slightly uncomfortable for a while. I'll have to try adjusting the knee pad, or possibly getting one that does without the shin guard to allow for the tighter-fitting boot. However, for the amount of riding I do, these boots should be fine. I do like the seam-welded sole; my previous boots had the sole come loose a couple of times, and it looks like that won't be a factor for these boots, part of the reason I picked them, the other being the good price. Again, for the price and the amount of riding I do (infrequent), these boots will be a good value.Quality of Materials:* Materials all appear to be good, no issues with the one long day I've been able to use them so far.Quality of Fabrication:* Everything is put together well; I like the one piece sole as I mentioned above.Ease of Installation:* Just follow directions. Contrary to what people might think, it really doesn't matter which boot you put on first.Suitability for Purpose:* Worked great, protected my feet. I especially like the sole, the tread seems to be more suited for off-bike walking than the smooth-soled tread of my previous ones. Had some stream-crossing and rain issues, my feet stayed dry. Don't know that these are specifically marketed as waterproof, and they may not survive a full submersion, but the water I encountered stayed on the outside.Packaging/Delivery:* As usual, Prime delivers fast and delivers well. Package was brand new.

I have small feet and it was hard for me to find boots. These are still just a bit large for me, but I got the Thorlo Unisex Combat Boot Overcalf Socks in a medium and now the boots fit great. They're comfortable riding in, and walking isn't bad either. It didn't take much to break them in at all. Since I had never ridden with MX boots, it took a little getting use to on the bike since before the boot I could touch tippy toe with both toes and after the boot, I have to slide off the bike just a bit to touch. No biggy though.

So my Fly's from 2000 were trashed and the soles are off. Saw these boots and Oneal is a good brand. I can't say if 500 dollar boots improve your riding but I've done exceptionally well with these lower cost boots.Fit was a bit strange at first as some had mentioned. I fitted the straps and they keep me locked in just fine. the boot feels like tennis shoes no break in required. Had no weird hurting spots or anything when wearing for the first time. Seeing how the boots are molded the soles look to hold up better then the old school ones. They are not overly stiff at all but there is some support this is not a ski boot but i'm not racing so I like the relaxed fit better. Overall very happy with my purchase.
