I actually used this product as a replacement for Marley dance floor in my home and it worked great for that purpose! I wish it had been rolled rather than folded as there are still wrinkles and kinks in it after using it several times, other than that works great

At $26 delivered I don't see how anyone can complain about the wrinkles. I have been installing these liners for 16 years now.Like another reviewer said. Lay it out in the sun and the wrinkles come out. Or use a heat gun if using it in the winter. You can't beat the price with free delivery. The liners are 40 mil thick and will not leak if properly installed. They're plenty of YouTube videos if you don't know how to install it.I just received 4 more liners that I ordered just a few days ago. Knowing that winter is coming and i have a few bathroom remodels to do i will be laying them outside tomorrow to get the wrinkles out and then roll them up for the next job. That's my take on it.

I bought this even after reading negative reviews about the folds, mainly bc I didn't know where to get a non folded liner in such a small size that I needed. Tried everything I could think of to straighten those folds but they are permanent. Installed it anyway and did water test which was fine, no leaks. The next day there were still some little pools of water due to the creases though which is no good. I'm sure the mortar bed would push these down somewhat but who wants to risk that? Also, yes my preslope was done correctly. Luckily I found that the local depot sells a cut your own size roll of the same stuff so I got a 4x5 piece for $10 less and with no folds at all! Giving 1 star since I ended up ripping this out. Suggest you check your local store before ordering this.

Amazon had the best price available and beat out even Lowes. Some complain that there are folds in the membrane liner. This is the way it comes from Oatey the manufacturer (even in Lowes). To help remove the folds, lay it out, then roll it up in a roll. Place it in a south window so the sun can warm it up for a day or two (or three). The folds are not gone, but they are less noticeable. It doesn't hurt the performance of the product. Use an adhesive to bond it to the shower pan and it's almost completely level. Note - you have to fold the corners anyway.

I used this product in a new walk-in shower installation & while there's nothing wrong with the material, the creases it gets from being packaged are very hard to remove. I allowed some time for it to lay flat, thinking the folds would eventually fall out, but it did not. Realizing laying flat wasn't helping, I then hung it vertically for a few days. That helped only marginally. I finally had to resort to heating it up with a hair dryer to try to smooth it out. It ended up just being more of a hassle than I'd expected. So, again, nothing wrong with this pan liner itself - it's very thick & will hold water nicely - however, if you live near any building supply store selling this product by the foot off a roll, buy that instead of the prepackaged version.

Buying shower pan liner by the foot is insanely expensive compared to this. I was building a custom shower so I figured I'd just pop by into homedepot and get the exact dimensions I needed. The final price would've been five times as expensive as this liner, and not even as big!Once the liner came the quality was excellent. As thick as I had expected and properly sized.

Liner did as expected...kept my shower floor from leaking into the garage. When shipped, the liner is folded (kinda like in the picture). the folds make it a little cumbersome when using it with "pre-pitch". The bumps from the folds can be taller than the 1/4" per foot drain pitch. I suggest keeping the liner unfolded in a warm place for a good while before installing. Blow dryer helps some.

I put together a PERFECT shower pan in only three days from start to finish using this liner in conjunction with the Pre-pitch and Quick-pitch systems. I began my shower project by purchasing a Redi-Tile pan, which was a complete nightmare and disaster (see further comments about this below if you are considering). The Pre-pitch easily installed over my hardi-backer board base with screws. I used Quickrete Sand/Topping mix, which is a ready use portland cement and sand mixture to fill the form. It was so simple to use! The most difficult step was securing the 40 mil mat, but even that was not that hard. Once you have the mat down and secure, use the Quick-Pitch system, which is essentially the same as the Pre-Pitch for the final step. I would like to mention that the Kohler drain I bought was not perfectly compatible with the Quick pitch system because of the bulbous design of of the top. I was not able to use the center ring (I just used silicone sealant to glue the sticks to the mat). Great product, reasonable price, highly recommended!I thought that the Redi-Tile product would be a much simpler alternative to pouring my own pan, and boy was I wrong. Long story short, I spent $600 on a piece of junk. I decided to scrap the Redi-Tile pan and start over after countless attempts at seating the pan. No matter what I tried, it would always flex. DO NOT BUY TILE REDI PRODUCTS!
