Special functions of OBD Constant Power Cable for Dash Camera
V--Low voltage protection
The low-voltage protection is divided into 3 gears ,L-11.6v,M-11.8V,H-12v .
When the voltage of the car battery is lower than these three set values,the OBD power cable will turn off the car power and stop supplying power to the dash cam.
Note:You can choose the power-off protection gear according to the condition of your car battery . If you do not use the car for along time , please adjust the cut-off voltage to the 11.8V gear.Ensure that the car battery has sufficient power to start your car.
T--Adjusting the parking monitoring gear
P mode: 24-hour parking monitoring mode
After the car is turned off and stationary for 10 minutes, the OBD power cable will turn off the ACC power supply, and the dash cam will enter 24-hour parking monitoring mode (Note: For dash cam with Time-lapsephotography function, the Time-lapsephotography function needs to be turned on.)
I gear and II gear mode
After the car is turned off and stationary for 3 and 10 minutes, the OBD power cable will turn off the car's power and stop supplying power to the dash cam.
When the voltage of the car battery reaches the set value of the low voltage protection gear, OBD power cable will automatically shuts off power to ensure that the car has sufficient power to start.

Used this to power a dashcam to for periods when the car is parked. Since I don't drive every day, the dash cam would kill the batter in a couple of days. This killed power to the dash cam when voltage reached the set level, as advertised.

I got this to use with my dash camera because my cigarette lighter isn’t working anymore. This is working good and it also works with my phone charger. Very easy setup.

I got this because the other socket in my car has not moved working and so I wanted to have a backup and this was actually surprisingly good charged my phone with I thought that it would be really slow.But it's actually pretty fast

This OBD-II power adapter seems to be a great idea and is easy to install. The directions are straightforward and easy to understand. It seems to work great, but unfortunately the one I received does not have a tight seal and will not stay plugged in to my OBD-II port. It almost seems like the plug is too deep for my OBD-II outlet. I really like the design and function, but for me, it probably will not be a long-term solution for powering my dashcam.

My two favorite features about this adapter are the low voltage and timed shutoff that prevent battery draining. The included orange tool helps you tuck away cables with ease. There are also zip ties included for securing cables and tying up any excess. With the 2 USB-A ports you can run your dashcam and a GPS unit or other device simultaneously.
