Die Kapazität geladener Akkus wird als gut erkannt, obwohl sie kaum noch Leben haben....Das kommt, weil die Akkus beim Test unbelastet bleiben.Gut gedachtes Gerät, nur eben ungeeignet.

Seems to work ok. Not at all accurate with 6v batteries. Had to buy an actual load tester to test golf cart batteries. 12 volt seems a little hit or miss, but mainly good with 12 volt. If you plan on testing golf cart batteries do yourself a favor and buy a load tester instead. This just analyzes batteries and doesn’t load test. In the end, you end up more worried about battery functionality then you do analyzing

I have tested the voltage reading from this battery tester as compared to my trusted FLUKE 77/79 multimeter and my HP desktop Multimeter. The voltage reading of batteries using this tester was about 0.5 volt off the readings from other DMM's. I have used 5 separate 12 volt batteries with CCA rating from 540 to 760. The readings were not consistent over multiple readings on same battery (they could be 5-10% variances in reading). The voltage reading was consistently about 0.5 volt DC off the reading obtained by my test equipment. Maybe what I am expecting is not what is begin displayed. So, I left a message to the manufacturer, to see if there is any settings or test procedure/setup that I am missing.I did get a quick reaply back by next day. The content of the reply was that their test method is different and more accurate. My assumption is that bettery voltage level should be what is measured in a standard way; unless I am mistaken. I would think the 0.5+VDC difference between this tester and all my other DMM is a reasonable test of accuracy of the unit. See the attached voltage reading pictures comparing the differneces in voltage reported.Maybe all the cheaper battery testers have 5-10% varaiances in measurement. But, with the modern chips and manufacturing, I cannot believe that can be the case. It maybe that the unit I have is bad sample. I will test little more when the weather gets warmer and see if that makes difference. I measured the battery in car (3x) and outside the car (4x), and the reading by this battery tester was consistently off. Maybe 5-10% variance in reading is OK for normal use. I don't like this inconsistnat and inaccurate reading. Let me ponder whether to return this unit.

Had a pickup truck that wouldn't charge. Finally found a bad wire fixed it and hooked up the OBD Resource and checked to see if charging and I had finally found the problem

Work with a lot of car and this was a good addition. Comes with instructions to help understand it better. i do recommend reading them first. There was some battery setting i didn't understand but that could be my fault. But the batteries i did test showed faults and if they were good as it should.

This test unit is as advertised and can test 6, and 12 volt batteries. It’s easy to set parameters and read results. I’ve used it to check a variety of 6 and 12 volt marine and RV batteries. It worked well on all and easily spotted the weak batteries under load testing. Construction of unit is solid. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but I think it will last a long time with proper care. The case it comes in is also nice.
