This thing makes life so much easier. I put the transmitter just inside my door so I could quickly reach in and turn it on when I'm ready to use it. It's so nice to see how level my rig is while trying to park. While the screen is nice, I don't feel it was required as it sits in my console in my truck 99% of the time. A phone app I think would be a bit nicer and more economical in my opinion. There's no denying the quality of this device though. When you open it up, you can't help but to think "Well this is nice". Would I order this again? Ya, probably. But I also think I would consider Bluetooth versions that link to my phone.

I'm highly impressed with this levelling system, which unlike some others, works right out of the box. It was super easy to install - and only took about 20 mins - which was mainly me getting a permanent outlet to the place I wanted to mount the transmitter. I ended up mounting this in my storage area that's used for jacks and site setup - for me it make sense so I can turn it on from there without having to go inside, and it's also protected from the elements. Once calibrated, I got consistently accurate results even from over 100ft away.I'm not great at levelling my trailer, and this saves a lot of standing back to guess if everything is level. Having the left to right level indicator is a huge plus also. The included screen is bright and has a simple, intuitive UI so you can level immediately. I love that there's no app to download or reliance on Bluetooth that can sometimes result in frustration with connections. So far, I've used it a few times over several weeks, and the battery still shows 60% charge from my original charge.Highly recommended especially for the price point.

Expecting a complex wiring installation, I was amazed at the simplicity once I read the easy installation guide. I had been putting it off due to the snow and cold, and today with sun and the snow melted I got to it, and realized I could do this install in any weather. Both the level transmitter, and the receiver screen have internal batteries, with the transmitter taking a USB charge, and the receiver screen charged by a cigarette lighter socket. I calibrated the transmitter on my workbench, in which I leveled the transmitter, then pressed and held the 2 buttons on top of the receiver screen till the readings zero, then I mounted the unit in my camper, and following instructions, selected the camper wall where I mounted the transmitter, and that was it. I chose to place the transmitter next to my camper's radio because it has a USB port on it that can charge the transmitter, so no camper wiring was needed at all. My camper is sitting tilted for the winter to drain off snow melt, and the receiver display correctly shows the tilt, and it works well outside and while walking down to the street so it has a pretty good range. This camper leveling kit is a great convenience accessory, with it's super easy wireless installation, and bright easy to see screen, represents a fantastic value and is highly recommended!

I was impressed with the packaging. I usually don't pay too much attention, but there was so much care given to details on just the package that I thought that boded well for the device itself.I started with 4 stars, but after seeing how many competitors want you to use your phone (and provide them with your personal info), I bumped this up to 5. It is a great unit with only one drawback that is not a deal breaker and one nit pick.1) NO APP required!!! yeah.2) screen bright and clear enough for even old eyes to see3) super easy to set up - your hardest task will be finding a level surface to park on while calibrating.4) but calibration is also super easy, so just do it over if you find a better spot!5) My unit had no trouble connecting and updated quickly as I drove around the block6) Both parts have built in batteries that did not take long to charge on first use.7) because of those batteries, you can take the screen around with you to check on progress if you need to level by hand outside8) It came with a nice cloth draw bag for the screen. This made me wonder at first, but since I've decided to keep the screen stowed most of the time, it tuned out to be one of those where places they paid careful attention and thought ahead. Good place to keep the instructions also.So about that drawback: it totally interferes with your radio. That's the reason I won't be keeping it on the dash and will only pull it out when needed. They have a way to "turn off sound" but that doesn't change the radio interference. I also hear the devices communicating (at least I hear a higher pitch noise when they are on), which is not pleasant for me. It's not loud and it's not a bother for the short time needed, but I'll be keeping the active time to a minimum.It would be nice to have alternate means of charging both devices. But since they charge quickly with the provided cables, so that is just nitpicking.

This is not a complicated device; in a time when everything requires bluetooth and an intrusive app, it is terrific to have a device that truly stands alone. each pieces connects to itself, and that's all. and that is just great.very helpful especially for older folks who cannot hop up and down 20 times to make sure something is level. it's like having someone outside giving you guidance, or for myself, I like to think it's similar to a pilot's instruments.
