Das Tauchgehäuse ist super und leicht verständlich. Allerdings ist das Gehäuse nur mit aktiver Internetverbindung benutzbar. Da ich auf einer Tauchsafari war ohne Internet hat mich die App jedesmal rausgeschmissen. Ohne Internetverbindung kann man keine Lizenz abrufen und somit kann das Gehäuse nicht gestartet werden. Hier ist dringend ein Update seitens Oceanic notwenig um dieses Problem zu lösen.

I recently took this Dive Housing on a scuba trip to Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations. What blew me away the most was how incredibly well it worked with my iPhone. It's like having a professional underwater photography setup right in your pocket!The housing's design is not only sleek but also incredibly durable. I was able to capture stunning underwater shots without worrying about my phone getting damaged. It's built tough, so whether you're diving deep or exploring coral reefs, your device stays safe and secure.I can't recommend the Oceanic Dive Housing enough. It's a must-have for any underwater photography adventure. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I really never expected to be going through this shock and disappointment with the purchase of this product. I have been using the Oceanic+ scuba diving app on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 which has been working flawlessly. Additionally, I’ve recently purchased a Zeagle Fury BCD & Oceanic Regulator both of which have performed well. So I was very comfortable in purchasing the dive housing expecting it to work as well.I decided to test the housing for weight and function at my local dive shop’s pool for my upcoming dive trip to Belize. Thank goodness that I did. At a depth of 9 feet and around 15 minutes underwater, the housing’s shutter button malfunction (stuck) causing the Oceanic+ scuba dive app on my iPhone to freeze with vital dive information. I couldn’t believe it, I was completely surprised, shocked and disappointed. I took 2 pictures and then the dive housing and app failed. What a disaster this would have been at 60 ft in the Caribbean Sea. I will say that the Oceanic+ app on my Ultra 2 was working fine.This has left a bad impression on me as a consumer causing a great deal of unpleasant stress and anxiety. So please take this experience to heart for your safetyI’m posting the 2 pictures I was able to take before the housing failed so you can judge the quality before the housing failed.

Software is still too buggy to have been released. The hardware is very well designed but with the case it will add significant weight to your luggage. I was very happy with the picture quality and color correction, but the software crashes more often than not. I tried turning off all the extra features like real time color correction and the dive computer features. hoping it would be more stable, but that didn't help. The final straw was when the software froze during the phone insertion procedure. I had to take it back out and reboot my iPhone and start over. If my dive group wasn't waiting for me it would have been a minor inconvenience, but 5 other divers were annoyed by this.By the time you read this the issues may be fixed, but I'd recommend doing what I did and buy it just before your dive trip so that the Amazon return window doesn't close before you get back.

Wenn das System funktioniert, ist es wirklich genial, besonders die Bildbearbeitung. Leider verbindet sich das Gehäuse nur über die App, ohne diese ist das iPhone nicht mehr bedienbar (große Schwachstelle)! Mit meinem potenziell unterstützten iPhone SE 2. Generation war nach Update auf iOS 18.0.1 kein Tauchgang und auch kein Schnorcheln ohne Absturz der App und damit einhergehendem Totalausfall des Systems mehr möglich. Sehr ärgerlich - der Händler will es nicht zurücknehmen da es „schon im Wasser war“ und er ein Gehäuse und keine App verkauft hat. Bei knapp 600€ sehr inkompetent, unprofessionell und wenig seriös. Ich finde ja erst im Wasser heraus, ob es funktioniert. Hat meinen Tauchurlaub nicht nur finanziell ruiniert, sondern auch bezüglich der nun fehlenden Andenken. Ich gehe zurück zu meiner alten Digicam oder versuche es mit Sealife…

I just got back from a scuba trip in Cozumel where I tried out the Oceanic Dive Housing. Gotta say, it went above and beyond in the water. The Oceanic+ app doubling as a dive computer was a game-changer, giving me real-time data for a safer dive.The housing's design and sealing mechanism were solid, giving me confidence as I explored different depths. It kept me comfortable and at ease, letting me focus on the awesome underwater world.Figuring out the Oceanic Dive Housing's controls was a breeze. I could easily capture Cozumel's marine life in detail, thanks to the clear lens. It kept the sharpness and colors intact in every photo, making the underwater scenes pop.During long dive sessions, the housing's comfort and ease of use stood out. Adjusting settings or grabbing spontaneous shots was a smooth experience, making underwater photography a blast.To sum it up, the Oceanic Dive Housing nails it in both protecting the iPhone camera and functionality. The app integration as a dive computer adds a touch of sophistication to underwater exploration. For scuba divers wanting a versatile and reliable solution, the Oceanic Dive Housing is a solid choice for a great diving experience.

Pretty cool way to take videos while snorkeling or diving. The automatic color-correction feature just works, making shots look brilliant. . It's user-friendly and the instructions are good. I am a diver too and plan to use it when I go next. The vacuum pump and leak detector is unique and comforting.I've been in the water a few times, and it has not disappointed. The build quality is top-notch, and the app is the big winner. Switching between photo and video underwater is simple, and the battery life is impressive. The housing is a dream and the integrated depth and temperature sensors provide valuable data for each dive.I've used many dive housings before, but this one is something else. I’ve had several smartphone housings, and most are basic cases. When I first saw this, I thought “another housing, who cares” but I am stunned by the features of this thing. I’m rarely surprised by dive products but this one is really unique and useful.This has exceeded my expectations, not easy for dive and snorkel products. This thing simplified my recording process, and the ergonomics of the handle is a bonus.

Zunächst, das Produkt selbst ist extrem hochwertig, Haptik wirklich gut, stabil etc. Viele Details sind gut durchdacht, die Pumpe funktioniert einwandfrei, Akku hält ewig.ABER:Ich habe mit dem Dive House von Oceanic 10 Tauchgänge gemacht. Software in App, Dive Housing und iPhone waren aktuell. Dennoch stürzte die App bei 6 von 10 Tauchgängen ab, 2x mit eingefrorenem Screen auf dem iPhone, 4x war das iPhone plötzlich im Sperrbildschirm. Anschließend keine Chance das iPhone wieder zu reaktivieren, ohne es aus dem Gehäuse zu nehmen - was in 30 m Tiefe nicht zu empfehlen ist ;-)So ist das Tauchgehäuse leider weder als Foto und schon garnicht als Haupt- oder Backup-Tauchcomputer zu gebrauchen, denn davon wurde nach dem Absturz auch nichts mehr angezeigt.Sehr sehr schade, ich hatte viel Hoffnung und bin auch bereit für ein super Produkt etwas mehr Geld auszugeben. Aber dann muss es einfach funktionieren, und das tut es aktuell nicht. Daher ging es wieder zurück.
