I had an opossum die under my mobile home and the dead animal removal person wasn't able to reach it in order to dispose of it. He recommended the Earth Care Odor Removing bags to help with the smell at that end of my mobile home. I ordered two and hung them up in the bathroom at that end...the smell was horrendous when I opened the bathroom door to hang the bags. Within 24 hours the smell was gone. I have ordered two more bags just in case I have to replace the current ones before the opossum has dried out and no longer smells. I was amazed at how well they work and highly recommend them.

Know when you’ve been on vacation and come home and no longer have that odor blindness and you walk in and there’s an odd odor?Returned from vacation and my house smelled musty. Thought maybe because it was winter & no fresh circulating air from outside.But even after opening windows after a few days musty smell was still there. I cleaned, vacuumed, mopped but couldn’t get rid of musty smell (I don’t live in a basement unit in case you’re wondering.)Decided to try these after reading other reviews and within hours of setting one in livingroom and one in my walk-in closet, the musty smell was gone.Hate trying to cover up smells with chemical air fresheners and my usual charcoal odor packs weren’t working on the musty smell.Definitely recommend to give these a try!

Purchased 2 bags. Followed instruction and hung exactly where dead rodent smell was strongest. Odor seemed to lessen for one day. Next morning odor was back and no different. Want a refund and will never purchase again.

So a mouse or something died either in my attic or ceiling. The smell was terrible. I was gagging whenever I walked into my room. But I didn't want to spend $$$ to hire someone to find it, knowing that it would probably only last a week or two. So I ordered a two pack of these in desperation hoping to make my room livable. I was VERY doubtful that they would work, but was willing to try anything. I am SHOCKED to say that these not only worked, but worked FAST. I hung one bag from the ac vent near where the smell was and put another in the next room. Within a few hours the smell was much less. By time I went to bed, 6 hours later, I could barely smell anything. Today, zero smell. I even left the house and came back, so it's not like I went "nose blind" to it. I was literally gagging from the smell as I hung up the bag, so it was BAD. And now, it's gone. A miracle.It is rare that I would take the time to log into Amazon the day after receiving a product to review it, but these worked so well that I have to spread the word. If you have a dead mouse in your house, get these. You won't regret it.

The smell is gone, but took more than these bags to do it. Had a dead mouse or rat under the floorboards by a corner cabinet in my kitchen. After hanging 2 of these bags, I'd say about 60-80% of the smell was gone after 3 days, but I could still catch a slight smell. I was able to get rid of the rest of the smell by placing small bowls of fresh ground coffee to absorb it in the cabinet and along the baseboard. The smell of ground coffee is not unpleasant, but a little overpowering for me, since I'm not a coffee drinker. So I also added a hazelnut cream candle which is quite complimentary and an overall appropriate kitchen smell. Everything smells great now, but I think I'll need to keep it up for a few weeks until it totally disintegrates, since it's late fall and cold and damp here now until next spring/summer.

I know for sure we had "dead squirrels" in our inaccessible attic. The stench was unbearable and it was driving all of us mad. My children's bedroom had it the worst. It was horrible. I cannot even begin to tell you how much money we spent on candles within a week. The candles helped out in the beginning and as the smell got worse (I'm guessing because of the animals decaying a bit mor and more as the days pass). But after 2 days the house smelled like canles AND the dead squirrels! We could not believe how bad it smelled. In desperation of finding a cure until we had enough money to call a professional, I began to do some research. And i stumbled upon "Earth Care Odor Remover"... I read some of the reviews and said I'll give it a try. This product was delivered on time and it couldn't have been any sooner. I hung 3 bag in the children's room and 1 bag in my craft room. I could not believe it when I walked in the kids's room a little under 24 hours. IT WORKED!!!! IT WORRRRRKED!!!!!!! THE STENCH WAS GONE! At least in the kids's bedroom. In the craftroom, stench was still subtle. Then I realized that it is recommended to put 3 bags in one room to completely remove the odor. That was last month (mid March). As I am writing this review the bags are still hung and working!!! I recommend this product, but remember, if the infestation is a bit big, hang no less than 3 bags at a time in one room. To save money, I ordered the two package option twice.
