A replacement of a dual lower cable setup. Sounds funny to say it that way, but dual lower cables tend to be very stiff. Together with an M2 lever (also dual cable) it was especially smooth, but felt like grabbing a steel bar every time.A traditional lower gyro cable is equally as smooth (after adding a little triflow) but has a slight amount of flex, similar to what you'd expect with a straight cable. Not spongy, but just a little bit of give...For me, it's the best of both worlds. Smooth release and a very little bit of flex... Plus,let's face it. Traditional gyro cables have been around A LONG time.

NOT THE SAME AS THE PICTURE...!!!! There are quite a few reviews saying it is the wrong cable so I would have thought Amazon had resolved the problem by now.... NOPE! The cable I received is the lower cable which is longer and does not have the crimped on disc to hold it in the brake hand lever. They are not interchangeable.

Fit perfectly on my son's 20" Mongoose bike, the one commonly sold in chain stores like Target & Walmart. Replaces upper brake line assembly, above the free-spin gooseneck. Simple assembly, much easier than retrofitting with conventional single direct brake line.

Tried the local bike shop; got a part with left-hand threads.WHAT ? I asked for what I needed. End of the day all good ! Local bike shop took part back NO questions. CoolOdyssey Gyro G3 on bike ! My son is HAPPY ; we can hang out ride our bikes to go buy a soda ! Life is Good !

Purchased this cable for my Grandsons 20 inch Mongoose bicycle, I had never purchase this type of cable before and I know they sell different sizes and although they inform you of the size, there is no mention how to measure it, so I just purchased the longest one available and took my chances, it work great and was shipped very fast. Note: to measure for the right size of cable, you measure the longest section of the cable.
