Well people it has been well over 2 1/2 years since I installed this alternator into my 2003 Ford F150, 5.4L. This alternator has worked flawlessly. I waited to see if it was going to be dependable before I gave it my review. I give it a 5 star. Get it! You will be glad you saved money and purchased this alternator. You can thank me later!

So first off, yes it is Not made in the USA, but then again, really what is anymore,.TVâs appliances, just about everything is made somewhere else. So... after 18 yrs , 168,000 miles the alternator in our 02 Expedition went out. Local parts houses wanted $140 and up for a replacement (also not made in USA) so why not go with less expensive from Amazon. Same exact as OEM, 30 min. after delivery it was in and Rig was back on the road. would I recommend it ? Yes, in a heart beat.

Ordered this one to replace another that Amzn said would fit my van. The other one only had an oval electrical connector while THIS one has 2: a d-shaped one and a smaller one between the d-shaped and the positive post. This fit perfectly though the positive post was extended relative to the original.I wish it came with 3 new bolts though - I dropped (and lost) one of the old mounting bolts had to go to O'Reilly for a "that'll work" bolt. It did come with a new but on the positive post.It's working fine, battery light is now off. New output voltage around 14.5.
