Other than the installation being a pain on an '09 Ford Focus, it works just fine. Be sure to remember to get some jack-stands to make your life easier.

The solenoid was broken on the 18-year-old OEM factory installed starter motor. This whole starter motor cost less than a new solenoid. Managed to get the old one off and new one installed in a little under four hours. It matched. It fit. It worked. Car starts again. Over 212,000 miles and still going. Worked for me. I hope it works for you.

It was a nightmare getting it to my house, as Amazon lost it once, and then the mail lost it AGAIN. but once it did arrive, friends were able to put it on for my family, and it seems to be running just fine. Perfectly fit inside our 2005 Ford Focus. If anything should go wrong, I'll come back and update this.

The starter worked well for 6 months, now it’s dead. Tested at auto zone, completely gone. Pain in the neck to remove and install. Avoid this part.
