Bought this to replace my Trane unit's board that was giving me issues providing correct voltage to the gas valve. This was listed as a universal replacement unit for my old one. It was not exactly the same board as the original but it was the correct part for my furnace. After installing the new unit I found my thermostat not working with this unit, I found later in the notes provided with the new board there must be a jumper wire installed on RO1 and RO2 if your previous unit was a 474 unit. There was a jumper wire provided in the kit, once installed and retested everything was working properly. Now I have heat again and my gas valve is getting the correct voltage.

I do not like the fact that no pre drilled holes in plate line up with the board but Trane is known for that

Product is working fine without any major problems. Unfortunately, this is the second Control Circuit Board that I purchased. I was informed that the first one I purchased was a universal board and would work on my furnace. So when it arrived I installed it, only to find that I was getting an error message of "rollout error". I later realized that the so called universal replacement Control Circuit Board had contacts on the circuit board for a RO1 and RO2 which were not present on the original board. I made contacts to the two rollout switches on my furnace and "voila" the furnace started working, however, it ran constantly and would not cut off unless you manually cut the furnace off through the power switch to the furnace. Eventually I called in a repair company that informed me that although the company may have listed the switch as a replacement, it was wrong and that I should send it back and get a refund and/or replacement. Unfortunately because the product had been taken out of the box and installed, the return warranty was voided. The technician informed me that he could provide the correct replacement for $595. Noting that the price he wanted to charge me for his part was 5X's the price I paid, I told him "no" and decided to reorder off of the internet on Amazon. When the part arrived, its product did not match the one I ordered. I immediately contacted the company and informed them that the product number did not match the one I ordered. They ensured me to go ahead and install the product they mailed me and that it would work. I did. It worked, and I have had no problems every since.

Replaced an older version with this one. The position of the wires was different, but this circuit board worked great.

After much checking and re-checking of part numbers, and a good deal of hesitation--it looks a bit different from the original board--we took the plunge. It works perfectly.
