I bought this screwdriver to keep in my HVAC tool kit. I wanted something that would handle typical Philips and flathead fasteners as well as common (1/4", 5/16", & 3/8") hex fasteners that hold HVAC equipment panels in place. This does all that.I just got it and haven't had a chance to try it out, but already found something to complain about. One of the interchangeable bits is a Schrader core bit, which is really useful for HVAC work (I have a Schrader core that I need to replace in a couple of weeks, in fact). The trouble is that the screwdriver shank already has a combination Philips/flathead bit in that spot. You have to choose which bit to carry in the screwdriver. The spare bit has to go in your tool bag, pocket, etc., which means that it's begging to get lost. It's a shame they couldn't figure out a way to keep the bit stored in the handle somewhere. Mine will probably live in a small 35mm film container so it doesn't disappear out of my tool bag.The bits themselves are reversible, but keep in mind that they're retained with a ball detent. I haven't tried using standard 1/4" hex bits in this screwdriver, but if I do there won't be anything to hold them in place. This isn't a deal breaker (especially for a $12 screwdriver) but it is something to consider if, like me, you have a zillion different standard hex bits and you want to take them with you.The quality of the steel and the fit and finish look very good, about as good as a Klein screwdriver (and, I hate to say it, better than some of the Xcelite screwdrivers that I love so much). Appearances can be deceiving, and I've been fooled before, but I think this screwdriver will be excellent for the intermittent use I'll give it. I'm a fairly serious DIYer but not an HVAC professional. If I WAS a pro, I'd probably spring for the Kleins, but this screwdriver will probably handle a lifetime of condenser maintenance and occasional repairs. One last thing. My screwdriver was coated in some sort of rust inhibiting oil when I received it. I took it out of the package and then spent the next hour wondering why the house smelled like Liquid Wrench. I finally realized I wasn't having a stroke and that I'd just gotten oil on my hands. I'll eventually wipe the screwdriver down with something to get rid of the oiliness. If you're like me and don't like oily tools, keep in mind that the handle of this screwdriver is probably acetate, and brake-clean or any other acetone-based solvents will most likely dissolve it (and damn sure will melt the lettering and paint off). Mineral spirits should be fine but don't take my word for it.I really like this screwdriver so far, though I'll know more once I actually use it (which I will in the next couple of weeks). I'll update once it has some miles on it, but for now I'm pretty happy with it. I ALMOST want to get out there and service my AC condenser, just so I can try it out.

I bought this because I was tired of my klein stripping out where the interchangeable parts would not flip around and insert. So far this has held up very smooth and sturdy interchanging. I also tried milwaukee multi screwdriver and the nut drivers stripped out. This has been a great solid replacement tool. I like the hard plastic and shape for handling. The green color stands out and doesn’t get lost on a job. I am able to fit it in 511 tactical pant pocket and it’s always on me. Will update if I run into trouble down the line.*update* i managed to strip out the new one and found out that you can take a hammer and make adjustments so I fixed both. Basically don’t use these interchangeables as a pry tool for disposal rings. The connectors can get notches on them that cause them not to go into the barrel. After using it for awhile I still prefer the OEM. Maybe I just like the changeup. Been using klein for 8 years. Both tools are great.

This is a great tool. The ratchet operation is smooth, the magnet is strong, the handle is nice, and firm fitting; plus, it allows for half rotation on handle, to be straight, or pistol grip.. the icon/ logo badging on the handle presses in, and allows soft spring opening of the back end to expose additional tips.. it is as great as my higher dollar Snap On, with only two caveats (not even negative, just something to grow accustomed to):1. The magnet is so strong, it is slightly difficult to pull the bits from the tip (as their bits are chromed, or plated), so you almost need a needle nose to remove them when changing; but I will probably trade their tips for dewalt, Milwaukee, Irwin; any that have more course metal to grab and pull..And the number-2. Their gear cog to adjust on/off, clockwise or counter ratcheting, is the exact opposite as every other ratchet screwdriver that I've had..Like I said, not a negative; just need to adapt to it.. this tool is great, did I say great already in the review?.. Then, awesome for the price!!Would definitely purchase again..

I just recieved this product and ive gotta say it is definately asteticly pleasing, i love the green and black handle. Visually everything looks very well made. I cant atest to the longivity of the product, but i believe that it will be just fine based on feel alone. The reason i picked this multibit driver over all of the other ones is because it comes with more bits, and can work for several roles. It has your standard klein type 11 in 1 bits, but what i really love is the schrader/extractor bit, no more messing around with cheapo valve stem tools, with that being said i believe this would work great for mechanics/tire techs, ac repair, and electricians, just change the load out to fit your needs. This item is also priced right compared to others, and the big acetate handle feels great in the hand, and the deep ridges will give plenty of grip even with muck on your hands. This is my second oem tools purchase, and i forsee many more in my future, both products are extremely well made. I definately recommend this if you are looking at different x in 1 screw drivers.
